After watching the game again, yes even the first qtr, another thing that strikes me about our boys now is something that's been missing for a while. Character. Building a very impressive group of diverse characters. Early days, but we're becoming terrific to watch.
Yep. The team’s execution just has a totally different feel to it, obviously for the better. Players seem to have very different attitudes and are playing with more fluency and freedom. Very noticeable.

Stabbings have decreased by 11% since the machete ban.  Who’d have thunk it?

The bad news is that there’s been an increase in knife crime involving youngsters 🙁
What’s the overall trend in “wounding crime “ with any kind of sharp weapon? I would be looking at banning the carrying of anything that could be used as a dangerous weapon in public. Careful definition would of course be necessary eg the carrying of tools etc would need to be accommodated.

Port weren't fair dinkum last night. Butters on a HBF, turn it up.
Lets see what happens next week against a serious side in Geel next week.

Carr explained that move in his media conference... it was to create more drive off half-back. Carr also admitted that our run and spread caught them somewhat by surprise. They focussed on taking our contest and pressure out of the game -- with some success -- but we got them, and hit the scoreboard, with turnover success... something new for us.
The Fox commentary team were saying the same things in game.
