Worst part of speeding is, time it wrong amd you get a fine. I got one recently cost 300 dollars for 54 in a 50 zone on a road that used to be 60. Stationary 4wd, Saturday night 11.30pm on the way home. No excuse, but I was on the way home from dinner and Bolton Street is the only stretch thats 50km from templestowe to Diamond Creek road. Used to be 60km. Less of this please. Not helpful to anyone but the government purse.
Used to live near there and Bolton St was and still is a farce. After years of squabbling between Nillumbik and State it was finally revamped over a very long period of time for no improvement imo and the 50 limit remains.
Where do you stop though. Machetes are ugly weapons no doubt but just looking around the kitchen or garage there are some pretty fearsome alternatives. The problem goes way beyond the choice and availability of a particular weapon.
I don’t think Cox is one to cop any crap BBlue. Charlie will find no doubt that expectations on him are very high ! He is an expensive acquisition and will definitely be expected to perform.
I would describe Charlie as immature. Laid back and living the dream lifestyle wise. Can at times inspire the team with that spectacular and impossible mark or goal but has the lazy downsides at times. I don’t think we were a good enough team to take full advantage of such a luxury player. We need talent yes but we are very reliant on sheer hard work for the most part, at least for now. Be fascinating to see how we go next year, at least for me it will.
We were confronted by an intruder in our house about a year ago now. Long story but my partner was traumatised at the time and has only recently begun to get back to normal. We must get these thugs out of society but we have little confidence in our present state government.
Tell your partner they will be fine, the numbers are good.
Yep. You just gotta love stats. You can prove almost anything with them.

Plenty of very BIG egos floating around the club over the years breeding no doubt a testosterone fuelled culture. Pretty much guarantees a breeding ground for disputes where no prisoners are taken. Can be very damaging and difficult to get things done, especially if there is constant sniper fire.
Frankie may be worth retaining simply because he may be a little bit better than a couple we already have on our list. A cost effective way to make a small improvement to the depth of our list. Let’s not hail him as a messiah and put too much weight of expectation on him.
I'm at the palliative care unit at the Austin watching my dad expire so for the first time in living memory he won't be watching his beloved blues go around this weekend. Emotionally I'll have a lot riding on this game and hope we give a good account of ourselves against a side we don't normally play well against, because they think we're soft
Sorry to hear this Prof. All my best for you and yours during this tough time.
Rowell is a bit of a love child and gets looked after by the umps because he adopts a passive non aggressive attitude towards them and they like that. He gets the 50/50 decisions go his way more often than not and I feel the umps adopt a subconscious attitude that the teams who the AFL want to be successful especially the expansion teams get more of a free ride. Cripps is always held at stoppages or illegally blocked but its allowed because of his size advantage imo and the umps give more leeway to his taggers imo.
Agree. GC were definitely getting the rub of the green imho.
