Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Lapses- Physical or Mental
We miss far too many goal scoring opportunities when we have the pressure on and are using up our petrol tickets.
Then we ease up and oppositions reel us in relatively easily. Nothing more soul destroying and we go to water.
We either have to build massive leads early or pace ourselves more evenly.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: AFL Rd 1 2026 Post Game Prognostications Carlton vs Richmond

Would have been if he could kick for goal - still woeful after all these years
Crippa seems to be struggling for pace too at the moment although he was never super quick.

love crippa but like his teammates kicking skills are subpar.  reckon your being generous if you can name 5 players on our list that you would say are consistent good users by foot. So hard to watch.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: 2026 Last Practice Match Carlton vs Geelong
My one concern is that we played another quarter where we didn't score a goal. The inability to manufacture goals when things are not going your way has been an ongoing problem for years.  I think we need to be able to score goals against the run of play more consistently than we have in the past.
However beating the two grand finalists from last year must mean we are Premiership favourites.

Generally agree. Apparently our I50 entry work shows improvement but  I would like to see it improve further. There still seems to be too many poorly directed kicks and lack of creative leading. Otherwise I thought it was a pretty good effort.

Not clear to me yet where we’re likely to end up as l’m not clear on exactly what was at the root of our problems last year and whether or not we’ve effectively addressed them.
I’m running on hope for this year that we could make finals. We’ll get a better idea soon enough.

Used to be a dyed in the wool laptop user but finally my old laptop ran out of gas! After some deliberation I finally settled on a combination of iPad and phone. Going OK so far!

I read somewhere that the red Ozito tools in Bunnings are actually manufactured by Milwaukee.
I am only a very spasmodic DIYer these days but I have owned a red Ozito drill for many years and it has been very good.

Wow! No hints on how he managed that?

I understand that shaving one's head can be an act of faith for Muslims but it's not obligatory (as opposed to not shaving beards).  Perhaps Adam has decided to revert to his natural appearance  :-\
Hope it won’t affect his aerodynamics 🤓
