Go Blues great start moving the ball through the middle and taking risks. We actually look dangerous.
That's more like it! This is exciting football coast to coast who would've thought?
A lot more purpose, a lot more contested play and a heap of running through the middle, they actually look like they care today.
Amazing! Playing on at all costs, Gibbs getting the ball forward of centre, we look like a top 8 outfit.
Senior players setting the standard
Every Carlton player is thumping Wallace as they go past him!
Bryce Gibbs just so damaging forward of centre.
So, whose gameplan is this? Run, run, run and tough at the ball. Who cares. I like. Can they keep it up for more than a quarter?
I wonder who found the keys to the shackles???
I guess we'll find out soon enough Mondy! :))
7 goal qtr, this can only end in tears :P
MM said during the week that he was going to let them go.
Amazes me that he pulls a salary at CFC
Fking Walker is useless down back.
Awesome. A bit of slack defending and a ridiculous umpiring decision and the dogs are right back in it. Bit early for a fade-out isn't it?
Reckon the coach could make a move to put a player back to stop the run.
Three quick goals at the start of the 2nd quarter to the Dogs and they have eaten up our good lead.
Liberatore has hardly had a touch with Curnow doing a good job in shutting him down, hard to keep someone like him quiet all day though.
Bulldogs not putting much pressure on but our boys seem to be running harder than in the past two games put together.
30/40 year old game plan - same thing.
If we lose from here (29points up) then we should be shot.
BOOM! Brilliant goal Murphy!
Speak for yourself Sheik!
30-point lead at half-time, playing way way way better than we have seen all season, seem to have all of their key players in check whilst getting the ball inside 50m quick and to a taller than normal forward line.
Playing with confidence with a edge of toughness... I like
I worry that MM is telling the players to initiate plan Malthouse in his half time talk.
(play the boundary)
Much better first half.
Problems I see at the moment, Rowe, Rowe and Rowe. He is lucky that the boys are playing how they are, so he hasn't been under as much pressure.
I hope Garlett was watching that dribble kick. Probably not.
Have to keep this up, so Bell needs to be better with his disposals and more aware of what's around him. He could have taken a bounce or two and had a shot at goal himself rather than go the long kick.
Tackling is superior to what we have been doing all year. Actually we haven't been tackling all year, so this is a pleasant change.
Cripps will get better each game, need to keep playing him.
Thomas didn't do much that quarter, want to see more from him.
Everitt too in and out at the moment. Cost us a goal with sloppy defence.
Agree with Walker comments. Can't work out what he's doing out there.
Gibbs been terrific, Murphy the same, Waite and Henderson good. I hope MM realises that you NEVER leave Waite out of the side when he's not injurted. He owes us 120 games.
Umpiring, bamboozling to say the least. It's pot luck. The decision that Yarran didn't get was just disgraceful.
Hope we don't run out of puff or the adrenalin that we are obviously playing on.
Oh and isn't it nice to have Juddy sitting there waiting.
Rowe going ok.
I'm really happy for him.
Rightly or wrongly it's a style of play this list seem to be most comfortable with.
They seem confident and actually seem to be enjoying it.
Now folk may say it won't win you finals....but you're not going win finals if you're not there in the first place
I could be wrong here but Mad Mick's patented "Boundary Line" plan is not being used at all today and it is a major reason why we are playing 250 times better than we have all season.

8) Don't play half a game..... Finish it offfffff
We haven't played four quarters for years.
Important to maintain it
Here's where the fitness issues could come into play.
I imagine the type of game we've played could be taxing.
Vintage Daisy snap!!
We're wasting out time with White.
If the Dogs can isolate Crameri one out against White they will reap the benefits on the scoreboard as well as forcing Malthouse to shift another tall onto him, possibly Henderson which will have the added effect of downsizing our forward line.
There are some crap umpiring decisions in this match, cannot understand how they arrive at the decision they make.
If Tuohy lets that prick Gia off again I'll spew!!
FMD!!
Judd subbed on for Bell whilst Stevens goals to reduce the margin to 19-points after being up by 36.
Judd's hammy pretty much kills MM career!
Blind Freddy could have predicted this was a chance of happening!
Judd has done a hammy, lasted 2-mins.
Apologies LP
You were right
I was wrong. :(
Was always a stupid idea!!! F#cking MC have blood on their hands!!
When will the MC ever learn, they rushed Judd back and now they are going to lose him for another 4-5 weeks.
Chances are our players will go back to the same attitude & effort prior to Judd playing now.
D Grade ar5e wipe footy leagues know you don't warm up 30 year olds then leave them sitting on the bench for extended periods. It has always been and will always be a certified recipe for disaster!
Time for Murph and the boys to make a statement. OK we're not going to have Juddy to turn this season around so let's show everyone we don't need him.
this game is not ours.
They smell blood
#united? the next 30 minutes will test the resolve
Fark off McGuire!!!
If the Dogs had of kicked one in those dying minutes our guys may have got the yips.
Still, 4-goal lead at 3/4 time is nothing to sneeze at but the question is have we got the legs to run out the last quarter ??
They started to get a sniff in that quarter too.
First goal of the last quarter is crucial now.
Who's been subbed, Bell is back on?
That's what I was going to ask.?????
Thought it was Judd for Bell
Cripps
I think it was Cripps who was subbed but Bell came off for Judd, might be an investigation into that one.
What was Scotland thinking ??
Scotlands cost us two goals in two minutes.
Curnow off injured!
why am I fkn nervous!
Cripps might have already been in red (subbed on the bench).
Judd probably had to wait for another player to come off.
The Dogs don't know how to win this, may be our saving grace.
Hendo to kick the sealer !!
fk the MC
I hate it when I'm not at the ground. I don't have ay TV, so it is agony!
What happened to Judd?
