Bad miss after the siren by Yarran, has to kick those. Way closer at 1/4 time that I was expecting 10mins earlier.

Impressive start by the boys they have come to play, looking forward to the second quarter.

Great. Once again, in an interstate match, the game turns on a baffling, bewildering umpiring decision at a pivotal moment.

So can we expect 50 metre penalties every time a Frockers player backchats the ump?  Not holding my breath.

Very good 1Q, the boys look determined tonight and will not take any crape! Keep going boys.

The Carlton players know Crowley is going to antagonise and bitch-slap whoever he is minding, in this instance, its the captain of the club .............. go in and fly the flag and let him know he is going to cop a belt behind the ear everytime too !!

Starting to show our true colours now, gotta straighten up and do the basics well, the flash stuff will happen later.

Heartbreaking stuff to work so hard only to go to water in front of goal.  Frockers are such a turgid team, get a few goals in front and they cease up. Only got ourselves to blame.

Great to see Crowley getting his just desserts. Haven't seen such a united front for a long while. Great stuff.

We had them on the ropes in that quarter just couldn't deliver a decent blow.

Davey Ellard if you can't kick straight what exactly can you do?

Is Ellard Mick's lovechild?

Why does he get a game very week…sheesh!!!

Wood. 7 disposals, 3 marks up to half time and holding his own.  Sandilands doesn't get any shorter but he does get slower as the night goes on.

Wasted chances again, but still hanging in there. Somehow we look different? More determined, more self-belief? Maybe we are getting better. Wood OK so far IMO.

Anyone notice Carrots being really reluctant to go for the ball during a contest in the 1st?

I think he trains hard and does what Mick tells him.

Yep I saw that I reckon he was wary of the other bloke putting his head over the ball as well. Could be a sign of future things to come.

Ellard is a player we should have delisted years ago....

Good effort on Crowley...he is being hammered at every opportunity, Wood collected him very nicely. :D

Our skills are poor at times and players like Fyfe and Mundy are really hurting us with their class.....

Wood has been ok but Sandilands is a shadow of the player he was and his marking skills are no better than Warnocks at the minute...

Waite has been ok..

Simpson on Suban isnt a great matchup..the latter is a stronger unit....

Really like Murphy's game. Standing up for himself and getting good possessions.

He stepped up that quarter. And I noticed he actually knickers the ball quite well over 40+ meters :P

Graham not starring but doing OK, as with Johnson. We have to get some quality replacements for Ellard and Carrazzo, and Brock for that matter, even though he hasn't been on yet! He'll probably come on now and win the game for us.  ::)

Fyfe and Ballantine with a bit of help from a couple of unfortunate errors by us get 'em over the line - a real sickener!  :(

Still we saw plenty of positives tonight IMO. We are definitely starting to turn it around.
