I'll be at this game. I didn't even see a highlight (if there were any) from last week, so I am looking forward to seeing us in action again.
E- as bad as I've seen us all season.
5 Charlie Curnow
5 Levi Casboult
2 McKay for his goals
1 Gibbs
1 Murphy
1 Docherty
It's a bad day at the office when blokes get points for trying.
Team F. Swamped across the park
Casboult - 4. Three goals, rucked significant minutes, had multiple quality opponents, finished the game spent. Gave everything, not disgraced.
Charlie 4. One of the few players we have with size, pace and flair. Worries opposition at times.
Samo. 3. Finished poorly but oozes class, had a go and not phased playing men.
And err, err, ... for at least trying...
1 Fisher His size is a major concern but gets dirty, accumulates around the ground and can play.
1 McKay Didn't complete the marks he got to but looks a player.... runs to right spots. Finished well.
1 Docherty Swamped, constantly disposing under pressure.
1 Kreuzer Once he got taken out any chance of a competitive effort evaporated.
note; Weitering must be "managed" this week, his shoulder and his confidence are both gone.
5 Murphy
4 Curnow
3 Petrevski-Seton
2 Docherty
1 Casboult
I'm happy to be putting a couple of the young blokes among the best players for a change, about the only bright spot from the game.

4 - Casboult (actually renewed my faith in him, the big fella worked hard and was dangerous even effective, benefitted from having another tall foil up forward).
4 - Curnow C
2 - Docherty
1 - Fisher
1 - Kerridge
1 - Lamb
1 - Murphy (only just, at times he seemed petulant, selective over who he would pass to, made basic skill errors which deflated younger blokes and incessant whingeing to umpires... not the stuff of leadership.)

Like a lot of people, I was very disappointed by last night’s result. It was as poor as anything we have produced in 2017. We had SOOOO many tackles, but still the Geelong players were able to get the ball off; we tried to tackle, but so many were ineffective because they were broken; and we made so many mistakes that we gave the ball back to easily after working so hard to get the ball. A lot of good players played their poorest game for the year, including Kreuzer before his head was driven into the ground.
With a well beaten ruck division and an ineffective midfield, we were under pressure the whole time.

Votes:
Difficult with so few 4 quarter efforts:
[4] Casboult
[2] Petrevski-Seton
[2] Murphy
[1.5] Docherty
[1.5] Charlie Curnow
[1] Kerridge
[1] Gibbs
[1] Jones
[0.5] Simpson
[0.5] McKay
Explanations:
[4] Casboult 3 very good goals and some of the best ruck work of the night highlighted one of our few winners.
[2] Petrevski-Seton: Patchy and had a few mistakes, but his tackling and centre square work suggested that he will be a winner for us.
[2] Murphy: Tried hard, but always seemed to have a tail of Geelong players trying to squash him. How he got through unhurt is quite miraculous.
[1.5] Docherty: Not one of his great games, but Doc was more than useful.
[1.5] Charlie Curnow: A night of might-have -beens for Charlie, as he beat Henderson but couldn’t quite pull of the remarkable.
[1] Kerridge: Did a good negative job and still got useful amounts of ball.
[1] Gibbs: Much better then last week, but still under a heavy tag.
[1] Jones: Not sure why Jones wasn’t on Hawkins all night, as he was beaten only once by him. But our defenders moved around a lot. Jones was good.
[0.5] Simpson: Not one of his great games, but he worked hard.
[0.5] McKay: Had we been able to get it near him more often, we would have kicked a MUCH higher score. His snaps were excellent and his marking showed the promise of things to come.
Honourable Mentions:
Wright: Struggled for possessions but never gave up.
Jack Silvagni: Like Wright, he found getting the ball difficult, but he did keep Tuohy down and kept him on the defensive. His goal was very nice and he showed some nice glimpses.
