Balll goes through the goals bounces on the ground past yhe line then hits the back of the post. Isn't that a goal?
If the whole ball crosses the line at any stage it should be a goal by the rules

Won q1 easily. Shame a few wasted opportunities passed us by. Pickett - happy birthday for yesterday. Hope he has a breakout game. Looks VERY threatening...

Liking what Pickett brings to the team, a little X factor we have been missing. Would be great to see him take the game on further

Dont think that point on halftime is right, siren went before Smedts ran it iover the line...am I wrong?
I thought score only counts if kick was taken prior to siren. The last play before the siren was not the kick but the rushed possie. But then I'm no expert :))

It's a point if the defensive team puts it over the line after the siren.

I think its a little bit of a grey area.
If we punched it through after the siren it counts. If they run it through after the siren it does NOT count.

50/50 from here. Gibbs started like a house on fire but has gone a bit quiet, Kreuzer, Murphy and Docherty fantastic but we've come to expect it. Our pressure has been very good, a few skill errors as usual but if we keep our head down we can win it.

Re: Pickett goal. I thought the complete ball over the complete line is a goal. The camera shows just that. Not sure how the back of the post comes into it. The camera shot for some reason is not focused on the back of the post ::)

If we ran it over from say the 50m arc, would that still stand? When does that specific play stop?

MacEvoy is giving him an armchair ride, he needs to be quelled as well.
Hawks aren't backward in hammering our kids.... Casboult needs to really lead hard and stop pulling up.

Pretty good half by the boys. Lamb Sicily battle is entertaining. Pickett showing more glimpses of some very exciting skills. Charlie is sooooo classy. Really hope he kicks a few tonight and gives the RS cronies some heat. Fisher, Samo, Jonesy, Plowman, and our leaders are solid.
Go new Blues
