That's the likely origin. Are you on their mailing list as a CFC supporter ? Maybe one of your mates sent it ?

It's not bad IMO. The one just below that on the Carlton rebuild is pretty good as well.

Some Collingwood or Essendon Supporter has got into Wikipedia to post this gem in the Wooden Spoon article.

Also got images of a wooden spoon sent.

They haven't gone to the same effort as they did for our time finishing bottom in 2002 when I found a wooden spoon painted blue with glitter on it in the letterbox.

Wow - someone had a secret admirer. Went to the effort of painting it and hand delivering it.

What colour was the glitter ?  :D

Not that you ever want the wooden spoon but if you can’t win the premiership why not the spoon because there is nothing in between  :)

Playing finals, finishing top 4, minor premiers....................

You don't actually get a physical object as such, but then, neither does the AFL hand out wooden spoons. They rely on the kindness and generosity of fans for that.
