I haven't seen such skilful, error free ball movement and easy scoring in ages.
Who knew ?
Keep it up boys. Great work.
And they aren't full throttle yet Pauly. When this group really gels to the point they instinctively know what each other is going to do, look out. They played very well that qtr, carried on from last week which is most pleasing.

No doubt Hawks will come and come hard. Thr trick is to be so far out in front that they can't come back.
Look for the boys to switch gears and slow it down if/when the hawks do start coming.

Look at O’Meara. Twice the disposals of any player on the ground.
We dont have two Ed's. Ed's best work these these days is deep fwd half attacking, half negating the running defender. If we had another Ed, you'd send him to JOM for a hard tag. I guess at the moment, despite having his on footy, we are 5 goals up (should have been 6 or 7). If our midfield group continues and puts the hammer down another notch, they will have more headaches containing us then us containing them.

Some repeat sequences of midfield silk has really set us up this half. Despite Hawks ruck dominance our mids are taking advantage, winning the clearances.
Big Kruez is such an asset to this young midfield. Samo's managed to hold his excellent form so far, ditto Fisher. I'm impressed by Plowman down back. Another one holding his great form from last week.
We've been witness to the "defense first" in our rebuild. With the consistency playing together, they look incredibly hard to score against.
Fantastic first half. Keep it up Blues.

Win lose or draw, that quarter was a perfect example of Bolton's stubbornness and total lack of a plan B.
Omeara is their best player, had a million possessions. Why not get Curnow to tag him. Say to curnow, I don't care if you don't get a kick, as long as he doesn't get one. But why would that stubborn goose Bolton do that.
Secondly, you can see what's happening. they are breaking everywhere. only one way to stop it. Play man on man. but no. bolton just lets it all flow and hopes for the best.
I have said all along that the can't coach.
He's got some very good players to work with, but he will cost us dearly in the long run.

Murphy wanted to be a smart Arseeee. Why kick a drop punt which may have had a chance at a vgoal, when you can do a ridiculous kick which does nothing.
Murphy is gone. He runs around a lot, looking for the cheap ball, and 60% of the time when he gets it, he does a stupid weak kick which invariably misses a target.

....and it should've been a free as i don't think he got a hand on that handball.
Half a game of football doesn’t win matches. He could have made that ball go out of bounds and not have to lay a tackle which was too late to be effective. It’s called composure.

Please, stop blaming the umpiring. You do yourselves no credit. Blame the players, and most of all, blame the useless, stubborn coach.
They came out asleep after half time, and that was despite Daisy who was interviewed at half time saying, "we know that they will come home hard". You had a bloke in Omeara who was killing them, and the coach does nothing to counteract it.
But he's been like that for 4 years.
Two people resigned from the Carlton Board at the beginning of the year.
They were replaced with two people, one of whom at least, besides Chris Judge, was on the selection committee who picked Bolton.
So he could lose the next 15 games, and unless those board members have got the guts to admit that they picked the wrong bloke, he'll be there for the foreseeable future.

The guy is just a hack. He pisses me off no end. It's not just the missed targets, it's the running past the ball to avoid contact, the missed tackles the overall absolute softness of the guy.

When you lead by 30pts at half time, you should never be in the situation where the last 2 seconds of the game is so critical.
Gotta take your hat off to Clarkson. Slowed us down in the second then took over in the 3rd, with a side that's not nearly as good as ours on paper... but experienced coaching and experienced players showed us how it's done.
Another 'brave' loss. This one should hurt more than the GCSs game.
