Why aren't the others, there are many in that boat, Lang, Fasolo, etc., etc., who should be dominant at VFL before they get a call up, they are not kids?

I know he is young and in his first year but I think its fair to say with Ben Silvagni that the stories about him not caring too much about being an AFL footballer may be been somewhat accurate. He runs around like he CBF. Nothing like Jack who leaves everything on the ground. Time will tell but he is  a very long way off being AFL standard.

Lobbe looks good.

Collins is not fat, that's muscle, I suspect he's a bit bigger than 194cm, but he's not aggressive enough with contests. When the ball is on the ground he is a bit of a spectator not unlike Casboult, they should both watch Mumford.

FFS, tell the forwards to get in front, forwards jumping for marks from behind is a cancer at our club!

Garlett is weak as p1ss.

Watch 5min mark in the in dispute in the centre of ground in third quarter. Disgusting.

Too lacomic and lazy and club must cut its loses with these sorts. Polson is harder but has no skill set and no clue at all.

Enough patience shown. Enough chances.

We got to hear Fraser's 3/4-T address, take away space, do not give them even 1/2m because they take it! Then at the very first bounce there were 3 loose CheatsFC players, that not a coaching problem!

I suspect a few of our kids are full of themselves, it could be a symptom of gifting undeserved games to kids!

FFS, like we can afford to drop Daisy to make a point, drop the other 21 and keep Daisy, or perhaps tell the others to go and get on the piss with Daisy for a night or two!

Yes, its awful. Midfield struggling to get much penetration and little space being made. Skills pretty average. 40 odd points for a full game ain't great

No wonder so many of the senior fringe players sleep easy at night.
Nothing coming up to push them out.

Polson, O’Brien, Garlett, McCreadie, lebois, lobbe not even reserve grade let alone pushing for seniors.

4 years into full rebuild - would expect to have some depth by now.

i think losing Tom Wilson was a big, big loss for the 2s....

And we have a fair few out overall eg Simmo, Murph, the new kid from Subiaco, Jones etc. Even Pickett &Doc... it all adds up.

This is a real concern. There is absolutely  nothing in the 2s.

Worse than that, we played against a squad that was 50% full of top ups!

I thought the same at the time. I would never play him again after watching that.

Should be sacked tommorrow morning. Has skunked it since preseason.   Time wasting piss taker.

We've got a culture problem and excising some of the problems might shake others back on track.

And I'd let it be known why he was sacked. We need to get the ship back on track.

Seems very happy to talk about his shoe painting exploits....and good on him (wish I had artistic ability), but I'll admit, I'm old school - all these blokes are molly coddled. Big time. Too much.

Why give the bloke air time when he's hopeless out on the park - sure indigenous round etc but hey Jarrod, you're here at Carlton to play footy - to the best of your ability - and it looks like you're having a lend right now.

Mate, you're struggling to get a kick in the 2s and you don't seem phased. What gives?

Ship up now or ship out (tomorrow)....sad part is he's the current norm not the exception? There's a massive malaise over Princes Park right now.

What shock therapy will switch the group on?

They get paid very well - all of them - for what they do, some crazily well.

And that payment largely occurs irrespective of the fight and effort they give out on the park each week.

Irrespective of whether BB survives the week, I hope he gets the whole squad out in this miserable weather this morning and starts to toughen the lazy lot up.

Or is that against AFLPA rules these days?
