This Sunday at the 'Gabba. No idea how many fans will be there, but it won't be me. :(
Remember:
[1] 15 votes in total
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.
We continue our run of games on Fox. Do we ever get to win on free-to-air TV? I will get to vote, but it probably won't be early. :)

So near, and yet so far. :-* >:( :'(
The big difference between this game and the previous one was that we didn’t have a 4-quarter player this time, where the previous week everybody stood up.
Team: C+
I can’t give anything more. We lost, when we could have won. We worked hard, but we rarely got our game going.
Votes:
Unlike like week when I could easily given 20 votes and not adequately described our effort, I felt I was making up the numbers this week. Plenty of decent efforts, but the lack over 4 quarters without a single dominant player made the votes feel overvalued.
[2.5] Sam Walsh
[1.5] Jacob Weitering
[1.5] Jack Martin
[1.5] Harry McKay
[1] Patrick Cripps
[1] Sam Docherty
[1] Kade Simpson
[1] Ed Curnow
[1] Sam Petrevski-Seton
[0.5] Matthew Kennedy
[0.5] Mitchell McGovern
[0.5] Lochie Plowman
[0.5] Marc Murphy
Explanations:
[2.5] Sam Walsh: Won his position, kicked a couple of goals and held a great mark, but still not back to last year’s form.
[1.5] Jacob Weitering: Dominated Westhof all day but had a harder job against Marshall.
[1.5] Jack Martin: If he’d had his kicking boots on, he could have been the match winner. Good but, not enough.
[1.5] Harry McKay: 3 goals and some good marks was a good return, but H needs to stop giving away frees.
[1] Patrick Cripps: Clearly not as his best, but he gave his heart. Clearance work was better.
[1] Sam Docherty: Good, but not dominant.
[1] Kade Simpson: Good, but not dominant.
[1] Ed Curnow: Still good, but not as good as he has been recently.
[1] Sam Petrevski-Seton: Not enough of it, but what he did was excellent.
[0.5] Matthew Kennedy: A really slow start, but he worked his way back into the game and did well in the end.
[0.5] Mitchell McGovern: Worked harder and was more effective, but still needs to get it more.
[0.5] Lochie Plowman: Beat his man almost all day, but for that last couple of minutes.
[0.5] Marc Murphy: Not enough, but what he did was good.
Honourable Mentions:
Jack Newnes: Steady but needs to do more.
Levi Casboult: Started well enough but fell off when he hit the post from close range.
Eddie Betts: A couple of great cameos but was missing when we really needed that extra something.
Team: C+ (It could so easily have been a B+ :( )
5 - Walsh
4 - Curnow
3 - McKay
2 - Curnow
1 - Weitering
DJC - need to specify which Curnow got the 4 votes and which got the 2!
Particularly when Charlie Curnow didn't play! :)
