Our one and only key forward for the day is Casboult.
We should kick the ball on the ground going inside 50 today because it will be land of the smalls.
A wide shot before showed Eddie, Murphy, Owies and Fogarty standing together and they were all the same height. Thats our forward line.
We don't have Charlie We don't have Gov. We don't have Jack We don't even have Kennedy We should've picked TDK!!!
Which makes making and honoring leads even more important

Docherty near the bench knows there is 40 seconds left kicks it long to Steven May. Terrible leadership.

I really feel for Cuningham... just when he was beginning to head in the right direction. Bottom line is that, sadly, he may just be another glass man.
The pro D's commentary is very irritating.

‘Looks like a knee’. How did you work that out? We all thought it was his finger. You must be a doctor.
When i wrote that it was before it was even picked up by the commentary smart ar$e....and i specified further what i thought it was, as in medial ligament.
Go pick on Pittonet.....have you rewatched the first bounce yet? lol

All this critiquing of Cripps must have worked.
In other games he would've wheeled around and snapped a shot on goal that would've gone into orbit before sneaking through for a behind. This time, he chose to give it off by hand to Docherty who hit Casboult lace out. A goal results.
THATS what we need from Cripps, bring your teammates into it!

Harry was holding his should before he hit the ground. He can't raise it. He is done.
Sit him in the goal square and be done with it.

I heard Hardwick say after last nights game. "We are a systems team". Can someone tell me what our system is? What is it when going into the forward line? We score goals by fluke, not by any planned systematic entry.
Early prediction. We are going to ultimately get smashed, after having put up a reasonable effort which iswhat we do well. We don't win, we just put up a reasonable effort.
We lack skills, we lack guts. Owies is a prime example. Owies should have picked the ball up in the goal square. But he was worried about getting hit. So looked up at what was coming, not the ball. Will never make it with that attitude.
Look, I could go on, but just like this season, it's a waste of time. We have team full of spuds. Plowman, Casboult, Gibbons,Murphy done, you don't make finals with blokes like them in your team let alone win a flag. Fogarty can't kick more than 40 metres. Parkes is young and tries hard. Will he make it? Will Cottrell?
Walsh, Cripps if he's fit and stays, Mackay, Charlie Curnow if he can get right, Stocker, TDK and one or two others, are the nucleus of a team. So, what should we do? We sack every coach, and I mean every coach. We get a whole new set in. We get a Ross Lyon, who has learnt more out of the game than in it, or Clarkson who is done at Hawthorn and needs a new challenge.
Our other problem is that we can't get big name players because we are at 105% of our salary cap. Whoever we get is going to find things hard because I reckon with our list we are still a couple of years away.
In the meantime, Teague will utter the usual platitudes, and say " we have to get better".
And he's right, but it aint going to happen under him.

IF Plowman grabbed him to stop playing on, and he dropped the ball. Its 50m. If Plowman grabbed him and he held the ball, its 50-50 whether its called 50. If Plowman does nothing, he can play on and have a shot on goal.
Not many options.

Melbourne are legit. I know the opposition is not much today, but they have genuine pace, toughness, system, great defence, great midfield, and Brown, McDonald, Kozzy, Fritsch etc. is an extremely handy forward line.
