Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.
AFL Rd 19: Carlton vs North Melbourne
Team: B
We selected a side that didn’t match up well against our opponents and we had injuries which unbalanced us further. We struggled in the middle of the ground, but found a way to get the job done. The 3rd quarter was brilliant, but the rest was just average.
Votes:
[3] Patrick Cripps
[2] George Hewett
[2] Adam Saad
[1.5] Jacob Weitering
[1.5] Charlie Curnow
[1] Sam Walsh
[1] Tom de Koning
[0.5] Jess Motlop
[0.5] Matthew Owies
[0.5] Adam Cerra
[0.5] Nic Newman
[0.5] Matthew Cottrell
[0.5] Ollie Hollands
Explanations:
[3] Patrick Cripps: Our best player by some margin, but he started stronger than he finished. Never had a tap to his advantage but still willed himself to contests. 9 clearances and 7 of the best tackles you could ask for.
[2] George Hewett: 22 possessions, 6 tackles and 8 clearances, George had some really good patches. His disposal was excellent.
[2] Adam Saad: Did a great job in defence and provided some nice run. He liked his goal, too.
[1.5] Jacob Weitering: Destroyed his opponent for the 2nd time this year. Killed North in the air.
[1.5] Charlie Curnow: Struggled early and is clearly nowhere near his top. But when we needed him, he stepped up and kicked 3. Could have had 8, even though he was well for beaten for maybe half a game.
[1] Sam Walsh: Still worked hard and got some good possssions, but was well below his best. Looked sore.
[1] Tom de Koning: When he lifted in the 3rd quarter, it was like turning on the tap: we got the ball out of the middle and got goals. On the day, he was beaten. Looked sore.
[0.5] Jess Motlop: Didn’t do a lot, but what he did was lethal. 3 good goals from a quiet game.
[0.5] Matthew Owies: Matt Owies got 3 and should have had maybe 2 more.
[0.5] Adam Cerra: Well down early, Cerra lifted in that 3rd quarter and provided good drive from HBF. Still nowhere near his best.
[0.5] Nic Newman: A solid Nic Newman game.
[0.5] Matthew Cottrell: Worked into the game and ended with 19 possessions. One or 2 ordinary ones, but a 500 x better performance this week.
[0.5] Ollie Hollands: Should have had a goal, but did some nice things. Put his body on the line and made some crucial interceptions.
Honourable Mentions:
Elijah Hollands: Not a huge game, but he did some important things at important times.
Harry McKay: Not his best. He rucked well, better than Tom for the most part, but looked sore. His 2 goals were rippers.
Lachie Fogarty: Still not back to his best, but he was better and he kicked brilliantly.

Hard to imagine I couldn't find votes for forwards or a KPD like Weiters, but it is what it is. Saad's run really helped out Weiters, Durdin and Newman, it forced Norps zone further up the field and made Larkey a non-event.
Team B- Ugly win but under the injury circumstances a good one
