[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

AFL Rd 2: Carlton vs Hawthorn
Things didn’t go our way, and the Hawks were more efficient on the day. Most disappointing, but there it is.
Rating: C+
Why such a high rating for a loss? Well, firstly we did respond well to last week’s humiliation. We were hard at the ball, our defence kept Hawthorn to what should have been a losing score, we were a lot more desperate, and we didn’t make the awful clangers of the previous week. Had thing gone just a little different and we would have handed these … their first loss for the year. Alas, things did not go our way, not at any point.
Votes:
[2.5] Tom de Koning
[2.5] Patrick Cripps
[2.5] Jacob Weitering
[2] George Hewett
[1.5] Oliver Hollands
[1] Adam Cerra
[0.5] Jack Silvagni
[0.5] Sam Walsh
[0.5] Jesse Motlop
[0.5] Matthew Cottrell
[0.5] Adam Saad
[0.5] Mitc McGovern
Explanations:
[2.5] Tom de Koning: Tom got his hands to the ball quite a lot. Early, he struggled to direct his taps, but he improved in that area as the game went on. Should have had a goal in the 1st 2 minutes, but for the Umpires.
[2.5] Patrick Cripps: Did what he could. 29 possessions, 11 clearances; it wasn’t his fault that we couldn’t convert.
[2.5] Jacob Weitering: Did a brilliant job again.
[2] George Hewett: Like Cripps, George did his utmost to get us over the line, 28 possessions, 11 clearances and 11 tackles says it all.
[1.5] Oliver Hollands: Did a negative job against Moore and did it well.
[1] Adam Cerra: Tried hard. 28 possessions, 4 clearances and 5 tackles.
[0.5] Jack Silvagni: Our best forward easily. But 2 posters ruined a potentially decent day.
[0.5] Sam Walsh: A big effort from Walsh, but he struggled with the paces of the game was always rushed. Not the player he was before his injuries at the moment.
[0.5] Jesse Motlop: What could have been. Motlop spent some time in the middle and it helped him a lot. 1 goal 3, that hurt.
[0.5] Matthew Cottrell: Much improved over last week and showed more poise. 20 possessions.
[0.5] Adam Saad: Another very solid job.
[0.5] Mitc McGovern Much improved over last week. Did some nice things.
Honourable Mentions:
Lewis Young: Young had a horror first 10 minutes, but really stepped up after that. He was a lot better than I feared he would be and deserves a mention.
Nick Haynes: After last week’s disaster, I was looking for Haynes to be dropped. While I wouldn’t call his game great, it was a million times better than last week. He showed courage and discipline, both missing last week. That said, it was irritating to see Gunston kicking goals on him.
Zac Williams: A much improved game compared to last week, but needs to deliver more.
I'll leave this thread open for a little longer. Hopefully, a couple more people will want to vote.
