So guys, on evidence, we have very few players that swim against the tide.
You know what I mean, when the game is in the balance, who can we look to, who will be that circuit breaker. The momentum shifter.
Some of our players are capable of it at times, but the types that do this regularly is what I am after. You know what I mean, mercurial football. Charlie can do it (not right now, too broken).
List your players, do your worst. Lets have a look at what we have to work with. Ill forgo saying too much. Lets see what people come up with.
Players with the ability to change a game....
Charlie yep.
Cripps, De Koning that's about all I can come up with
Walsh was heading that way but has been hampered by a run of injuries in recent times.
I remember one game a season or two back when he was absloutley blitzing it and everytime he touched
the ball something happened...then he got injured, and missed the rest of the game. I haven't seen him approach that level since.
Weitering doesn't play in a position where he can 'change' a game and is more of an anchor type.
Harry can change a game, but sometimes the other way if he's off target.
Hewett, Newman and Silvagni are dependable and consistent. Silvagni in particular can influence a game but they're all just a bit shy of game changing ability on a regular basis.
Do my worst?
Gov and Haynes are finding new ways to change games.
