The game is set for Friday afternoon, at 15:35 at the SCG.
We'll probably be favourites, as Sydney are bellow us on the ladder! Amazing!
Cincotta will probably be back for us. Not sure who won't be yet.

That's a heavy continent of Carl listed players there, that's very good IMO.
It is very unlikely that all of our Emergencies will play. I hope that Hayes is available, as he is a busy boy nowadays.
I reckon Flynn Riley will play.
Hayes is playing. :)
Harry Lemmey has 2 of the first 3 goals! Make that 3 out of 4!
Nice mark and goal to Lemmey.

Lemmey again !
Sydney have the top 4 ball getters, including Callum Mills.
3 points up at Quarter time.
Carlton 4 - 5 - 29
Sydney 4 - 2 - 26
Harry Lemmey: 3 disposals for 3 goals.
Doch: 8 disposals
Billy Wilson: 7 disposals
Will Hayes: 7 disposals.
We on Kayo?
Sydney have Callum Mills, Taylor Adams and Lachie Hunter out there!
Bad Kicking is bad football. :(
Carlton 4 - 6 - 30
Sydney 6 - 2 - 38
Then McMahon kicks a goal!
O'Keefe has 5 clearances.
McMahon has his 2nd, and we get back the lead.
Make that 3. 3 goals in 3 minutes.
Cincotta not making much of an impression yet.
Goal to Ben Camporeale: his 1st in VFL football.
McMahon wont be with our VFL team in the second half of the season imo, think he will be snapped up in the mid season draft.
He has areas of improvement he needs to work on but kicking straight and long for goal isnt one of them and I can see a few teams wanting that conversion ability.
Not sure if it’s my eyes but I’m thinking he marks ok 1 on 1, not sure if he’ll get much of that in AFL.
Harry Lemmey kicks his 4th. I think that might be his best in our colours.
60-44 our way at q/2 time
Lemmey has 4
Liking O'Farrell's game so far. Seems to read the play well and takes strong marks. Good signs.
Lemmey is a bit on the slow side, but he also kicks straight and long.
not sure if McMahon offers more in that regard, or if he gets targetted more because Lemmey seems to lead much higher up the field.
Important to note, that Mcmahon is either being kicked to and present, or for want of a better term, completely absent from screen. Lemmey is chasing (if you can call lumbering around the field chasing).
We may have missed a trick with McMahon, but ive seen a bit to suggest that perhaps the reason he wasnt looked at by us, was that we feel he is a bit one dimensional. I think he is an old fashioned full forward and not much else. Not sure what that suggests.
Good to see Moir getting into the midfield mix at center bounce at times. He does well with ball in hand in traffic. Probably needs to build his tank but plenty there to work with.
Half time and we lead by 16 points.
Carlton 9 - 6 - 60
Sydney 7 - 2 - 46
Doch has 17 possessions.
Cooper Vickery and Will Hayes 16 possessions.
Billy Wilson 14 Possessions.
Harry Lemmey: 4 goals
Liam McMahon: 3 goals
Hudson O'Keefe: 10 possessions, 6 clearances.
Lemmey strikes me as a bit of a 'confidence' player.
And this will do his confidence the world of good.
Hopefully he can keep it going in the second half.
McMahon will definitely be picked up by somebody in the MSD, but I doubt it will be by us: we can't seem to appreciate those under our own noses.
Vickery was a swans player who didnt get a chance. No wonder he is good. Need to work out what they are doing differently to us, and should try poach one of the swans assistants. We also need to find out a bit about what Collingwood and Hawthorn are doing, although it would appear that Hawthorns way is to take our ex players with high competitiveness and football IQ and get them rubbing pixie dust on their players.
That might actually be a big plus for Lemmey's second half of the season.
We've had a real good look at McMahon.
There must be something there that's making us reluctant to pick him up.
I wouldn't mind knowing what it was, to see if he has done anything to rectify it.
Agree he likes one on one play but Id see him at senior level getting most of his opportunities on the lead and playing a similar game to Nick Larkey who isnt a push and shove merchant or big pack mark but likes the open spaces in the pockets to lead into and isnt worried by acute angles or distance. He needs to convert well because his defensive game and second efforts are not great and he needs to find a team whose system can cover for him in those areas until if and when he can improve those weak aspects of his game.
Goal to Cincotta!
5 for Lemmey
Harry Lemmey has 5 goals!
Early doors but I like Duffy's style.
Ben !
Dont hb to peoples feet !
Stirling Phibbs-Parsons gets his first VFL goal!
Cincotta is a competitive bull and i think him back in our midfield mix sooner rather than later will make us understand why Kennedy was cut loose. He is happy to run through the tackle in cripps like fashion.
Lemmey going for no 6
I wonder if Harry Lemmey has kicked six before at any level?
Yes! 6
Lemmey with 6 now
Out-Curnow, McKay
In-Lemmey :D
Good 2nd effort from McMahon which allowed the ball to end up with Lemmey.
It was...and I wonder if that's one of the things they want to see from him
Doc 25 at 92% efficiency
3/4 time and the Blues lead by 28 points.
Carlton 13 - 9 - 87
Sydney 9 - 5 - 59
Sam Docherty: 25 possessions.
Will Hayes: 22 possessions.
Billy Wilson: 20 possessions.
Cooper Vickery: 20 possessions.
Harry Lemmey: 6 goals
Liam McMahon: 3 goals
7 of the best for Lemmey
Harry Lemmey! Not many get bags of 7 in this day and age.
He's had 8 possessions!
Can we come home strongly? Doesn't look like it.
Liam McMahon! His 4th gets us over the line.
Doc has 30 possessions. Hayes has 28.
Damn, but Lemmey missed one! Would have liked an 8th!
Oh what a bummer! Carlton Supporters Club members voted last week and sent Harry Lemony back home to SA! :)
All over and 5 goal win! Our biggest win of the season!
Carlton: 15 - 15 - 105
Sydney 11 - 9 - 75
Harry Lemmey: 7 goals 2 from 11 possessions and 8 marks.
Liam McMahon: 4 goals 2 from 13 possessions and 3 marks.
Only 1 tackles between them!
Sam Docherty: 37 possessions with 6 marks and 2 tackles.
Will Hayes: 29 possessions and 5 clearances.
Billy Wilson: 23 possessions with 9 marks.
Cooper Vickery: 22 possessions, 10 marks and 1 clearance. He was quiet later in the game, but excellent when it needed to be won.
Ethan Phillips: 20 possessions with 11 marks.
Let's see if he can repeat it.
That's probably it in nutshell
The lad has shown us what he is capable of...
There's no going back now...He has to back it up and develop some consistency.
As far as a senior position goes...
He should probably get a taste at some stage this year.
That's a possibility because our big forwards get a few niggles.
But where do we fit him in long term?
If he continues to develop we're probably looking a couple of years down the track before he's a regular.
But he can make a case if he starts to dominate at this level.
The player stats have Lemmey without a tackle but his seventh goal came from a holding the ball free kick ::)
Duffy showed a bit in his second game and Monahan seems to be getting his positioning right. In fact, all of our AFL listed players acquitted themselves in what became quite tricky conditions.
I'm not sure what happened on that 7th.
I thought Poole made the initial tackle and Lemmey was the second man in.
Without the replay it's hard to know.
Anyway, it's in the books.
The stats on afl.com.au are always a bit dodgy, but all stats depend at last partly on how you see the game. The website really struggles when umpiring decision are changed.
Monaghan seems to be benefiting from the traditional Irish 1/2 back role, finally…
