Rating: C
We didn’t give up, we came back nicely in the last quarter, but we were always coming from behind. They always seemed to have the better of things. :( :(

Explanations:
[3] Sam Walsh: Easily our best player, he had a huge last quarter and was instrumental in our comeback. 32 possessions, 7 tackles, 4 clearances and a goal was our best statistically.
[2] Brodie Kemp: Probably the most effective forward in the game, he not only kicked 4 goals, he provided a target. Only 8 possessions, but 7 marks.
[1.5] Patrick Cripps: Normally, when Cripps gets 31 possessions, 11 clearances, 7 tackles and a goal, he’s by far BOG. Not this time. Still, he was one of the best contributors.
[1.5] Mitch McGovern: Like Kemp, McGovern didn’t get a lot of ball, but he provided a target and kicked important goals.
[1.5] Matt Carroll: 21 possessions and some nice marks. A good, solid game.
[1] Nick Haynes: I wish a few more of our players had as much idea how to do things as Nick Haynes does.
[1] Nick Newman: Slowly getting back to form.
[1] Will Hayward: Wirked hard, but not making the most of his opportunities.
[1] Zac Williams: Really good in patches.
[0.5] Jagga Smith: A solid contributor.
[0.5] Jacob Weitering: Nowhere near his best, but he was still probably the best key defender on the park.
[0.5] Liam Reidy: Got thrashed in the ruck, but never game up managed to get a lot more possessions that you might think.
Honourable Mentions:
Ben Ainsworth: Worked hard, but things just didn’t go his way.
Harry Dean: Lot a lot of ball, but Dean still did some nice things. A real green shoot.
