Haven't seen ol mate EB1 around the boards for a bit, anyone know where he's at? Hope all is well and he's travelling or taking a break.
I’ve had similar thoughts G2C, Brother Elwood would normally be all over our resurgence, coaching appointment and wildcard chances.
I hope he's ok, I miss his posts.
If you do a search of just about any topic EB1 will be a contributor.
Always gives good, considered opinions.

The members lists tell you when someone last posted and last visited. EB1s last post was in July and he has not visited since the middle of August.
Let's just hope he is all well and enjoying life.

I had a brief spell from the group a while back and was pleasantly surprised to receive a "welfare check" DM from another member. I know that EB tried without success to contact Capcom when he abruptly stopped posting and I hope Shawny's DM will shed light on EB's situation. 🤞
unfortunately ive had no reply which is a tad concerning.

Given the level of concern I've sent EB1 an e-mail using the e-mail address he registered with.
Hopefully that e-mail address is still active as it probably dates back to when he registered on the current version of the site.

Several members have tried to contact him through PM's with no response.
Unless he returns to posting, it's a situation where we may never know the reason for his absence.

I have actually been trying to do some searches based on what I know of EB (Mark) and his background to see if I can make contact with him via another way like LinkedIn or something like that. No luck as yet.
He's older than I am so he not young, so hopefully nothing has gone amiss. My first thought that something isn't right and he'd be everywhere on here. Top notch poster.
i wasnt going to mention it but Mark had a heart issue in 2022 which came out of the blue. Cant help but think this is a similar issue as any other situation he would have replied to our messages.
Im must say im quite affected by his absence and what it means. I never met the man in person but i really liked him nevertheless - was never personal regardless what came his way smart thinker and empathetic whenever there was a personal issue.

EB’s account was active recently. Lods and I weren’t sure whether that was because Lods accessed his email address but, account activity wasn’t logged when I accessed his email account.
There could be any number of explanations for that but I’m taking it as a positive 🤞
Whatever the situation, Brother Elwood is an important and well-respected member of the CSC family and I join with others in wishing him well.
I have conversed a lot with EB (Mark) via PM about many topics, footy, family, food, cars, trips etc. I am very concerned and I am missing his contributions to this site and the PM's.
