By the time the BYE rolls around we will have a fair idea of how well we are going to go. Looks like our run home is harder than the first 14 rounds (using this seasons performances by other teams as a guide).
Yes, I was thinking the very same.
Quick breakdown....
24 Rounds.
23 games
1 bye
17 teams including 6 double ups.
Teams we play twice....
North Melbourne - R2 + R16
Melbourne - R4 + R18
Collingwood - R5 + R21
Port Adelaide - R6 + R23
Geelong - R8 + R19
Giants - R17 + R24
Only 16 rounds (15 games) have days/times allocated so far.
From that 15 we have....
2 - Thursday night games
1 - Friday day game - (good friday vs North)
2 - Friday night games
2 - Saturday day games
2 - Saturday night games
6 - Sunday games....
2x - 3:15
1x - 5:40
2x - 6:10
1x - 7:45 - (kings birthday eve vs bombers)
We travel interstate 6 times....
R4 - vs Melbourne (Adelaide - gather round)
R6 - vs Port
R10 - vs Gold Coast (Darwin)
R12 - vs West Coast
R17 - vs Giants
R22 - vs Sydney
We also travel down to GMHBA (R19) for the first time since Covid in 2020.
Worst Scheduling quirk...
R4 - We are in Adelaide playing the demons on the Saturday for gather round.
R5 - We fly back to melbourne and play Pies after a 5 day break
R6 - We fly back to Adelaide to play Port on the Sunday, a 9-day break.
Surely they could've done that better??
i cant see us losing.
Two games against GWS after the bye ::)
Hopefully they have put the cue in the rack by then, and its a couple of easy/easier wins as a result?
