We did a lot right, but our forward work is still ordinary we don’t do enough for long enough.

Votes:
[3]   Liam Jones
[3]   Patrick Cripps
[2.5]   Sam Walsh
[2]   Ed Curnow
[1.5]   Nick Newman
[1]   Jacob Weitering
[0.5]   Marc Murphy
[0.5]   Sam Petrevski-Seton
[0.5]   Zac Fisher
[0.5]   Matthew Lobbe

Explanations:
[3]   Liam Jones:   Took Franklin to the cleaners, only to be duded by the Umpires for 2 goals. He really did his job well, as he lost 1 contest on the day.
[3]   Patrick Cripps:   Tag him, flatten him, you name it, Sydney tried it. Cripps still delivered.
[2.5]   Sam Walsh:   A very good game from the young bloke, and his 28 touches were not little 5-yard chips, like the Sydney guys. 2nd only to Cripps in clearances as well.
[2]   Ed Curnow:   4 goals was a brilliant effort, especially considering how he kicked those 4 goals.
[1.5]   Nick Newman:   Solid in defence and kept most of the Sydney small forwards under control when on them.
[1]   Jacob Weitering:   Not as attacking as he has been, but he did a fine job under a lot of pressure.
[0.5]   Marc Murphy:   Not back to his best, but he did well.
[0.5]   Sam Petrevski-Seton:   Some really good things, but just not enough of them.
[0.5]   Zac Fisher:   As above
[0.5]   Matthew Lobbe:   Tried very hard and held his own.

Honourable Mentions:
Levi Casboult: Levi did well from limited opportunities and our ordinary forward movement. It was not a dominant game, but one of his better all-round games and a hope for better things to come.
Harry McKay:   Like Levi, H was good and really gave us a target. His kicking, on the other hand, was a big negative.
