I'm actually not sure he wants it that much.
I think one of his major motivators is that he can make a lot of his legal issues go away.

Financial issues too Lods.

He’s screwed if he doesn’t win.
It's still the Gulf of Mexico, Don Old!

So I'm hoping for a Trump win because this madness will end with two terms and maybe some semblance of normal will happen.
Except he has already announced an intent to change the laws so he can have a longer term or additional terms.

He can't be trusted to step quietly aside when his time is up.

Factoring in his cognitive decline which is already noticeable, he'd be lucky to get half way through this term... if he wins.

As for the other option of being free of this crook, unfortunately the Yanks have already realised that if they put him in prison -- where he belongs -- it'd cause an unholy unrest and rioting in the streets, and maybe worse, civil war.

Trumps a survivor, the sky isn't going to fall if he wins. Harris will be a lame duck president with no power in Congress more than likely. The poor and struggling in the USA will still be poor and struggling no matter who wins and I wouldn't vote for either candidate. Their only hope is if interest rates drop, the Ukraine war ends and they get some relief with kinder economic conditions. If it's a close result and Trump loses there will likely be civil unrest and chaos , be better if Trump wins or Harris wins easily imo so there can be no violent  debate on the final outcome.

I'm afraid this may not be the case - if Donny Boy wins, I feel certain he will make changes that will damage (irreparably?) their democratic process.  He has already hobbled the Supreme Court with some outlandishly biased appointments, and if the same thing is done to the Civil Service, and maybe even the Defence Forces, there may be some serious long-term consequences for all of us.   Sycophants rarely offer good advice......
This is now the longest premiership drought in the history of the Carlton Football Club - more evidence of climate change?

I reckon he'd pardon the Jan 6th rioters.
And a few other mates that have found themselves in criminal strife
Clear up his own legal issues...and then head to the golf course. ;)

His minions?...well that's another matter.

Really Biden has been their version of 'weekend at Bernie's' since winning and the only reason he is not still there is the Dems knew they had no chance of winning a second term if he stayed on hence why he was pushed out.....sorry i mean resigned and allowed the mighty promising Kamala to take the power from the senile twit

Trump having 'relations' with a broken microphone probably trumps most folks for creepy. :D

Although, according to Bill Clinton, that doesn't count as 'relations'.......  ;D

Cant see a thing creepy about that at all - is Trump holding a child normally something to be concerned with?

Trump has a reputation with women but not children as far as i know.

Dead Joe on the other hand is one creepy weirdo when it comes to kids

It's perception.
And it's guided by our own bias.
We see the sinister in the innocent.
