Dont agree with everything Trumpy does and Musks solute did have me wondering WTF but some of Trumps decisions like this change and closing border I really like and wish our politicians had his gonads to go against the tide to return our country to the best on earth like it was a few decades ago.

The POTUS signed an executive order attempting to limit birthright citizenship despite the 14th Amendment specifically guaranteeing citizenship rights to those born in the USA (except children of ambassadors).  So far, 22 States have issued legal proceedings against the executive order.  The POTUS is on a hiding to nothing.

Does he actually have any advisors who understand the Constitution and the limits to the powers of the POTUS or does he just ignore advice that he doesn't like?

He actually claimed that the USA is the only country with birthright citizenship.  Thirty-two other countries and two territories have unlimited birthright citizenship and another thirty-two countries (including Australia) have restricted birthright citizenship.

How do you know when the POTUS is lying or just making sh1t up?  His lips are moving  ::)

Shawny, Im old school and dont disagree on the two genders approach for simplicity but I dont mind having another box for " other" to include those who may have medical reasons that fall outside the two gender option, also agree best candidate for the job is the best option too but id still have equity in the mixture where possible. Im just surprised at Trumps order of priorities and what he sees as urgent to change on his first day back in office.
I cant really cop Musk in anyway shape or form and find him more unpredictable and dangerous than Trump and his ability to buy into important decision making on the back of how it affects his business interests even more outrageous than some of Trumps ideology.
re: Biden ...was an ineffectual president past his use by date and his lack of action with Ukraine has prolonged that conflict imo, unfortunately like most Western nations you dont get a great choice in terms of who to vote for when selecting leaders and the public get short changed by whoever gets in power and there is always uncontrollable flow on effects down to Australia from what happens in the USA especially.

That's beyond Trump's scope, which is land returned after occupancy. I think in that regard native American's or Sth American's would have to take issue with the Spaniards.

One of the great realities of History is that no-one owns the land forever.
We occupy it only as long as we are stronger than those who seek to take it.
Once that happens it's no longer ours.
It's theirs, until someone stronger comes along.

I'd probably be sitting in my castle in Ireland if that wasn't the case. (Bloody English ::)  :D )
