How ironic.

I heard a stat today based around guns in america. This centered around deaths from police shootings.

One month in america, there was more police shooting deaths then there was in 24 years combined in the UK.
.....and not all states actually keep these records, so its actually much worse.

Why are there so many deaths from police? Because there are so many citizens with guns.
Why are there so many citizens with guns? Because.....'Merica

Change the gun laws and get over yourselves already.

I'm not sure it's still the case but it used to be that most British police don't carry guns. I think it's reserved for specialist officers.

It's horrendous version of politics that the USA is moving towards, and a tragedy for a young man with a young family.

But it is a cycle the USA has been through before. so I think it is inevitable someone will have another crack at RedTrump at some stage. Being caught or killed won't be a deterrent to people motivated to do this type of crime, you have to work to remove the motivation.

It's piss weak leadership in the USA that leads to this stuff, much like the piss-weak leadership in Victoria leading to all those machete attacks and tobacco store war.

When a moron like RedTrump incites violence with his rhetoric it's not unilateral, he basically lifts the lid on chaos, from radicals and opportunists! Being on the left or right, red or blue, is utterly irrelevant.

The sad thing is this distracts from abhorrent global behaviours from foreign states, and as such you could be excused for thinking that today's event as a target of opportunity might even be a false flag. We can't know, but the worry is the perpetrator escaped too easily from a venue already swarming with authorities.

A looney lefty who can shoot, neck shot from 180m-200m, who would thunk it.

I used to be able get 100% hits on a man-sized target at 300m with iron sights (aiming for the centre of the seen mass as we were taught).  I have to use a scope now, but can pop a rabbit at 150m without too much trouble.

The identity of the Kirk shooter is not known at this writing. Historically, these types are not left leaning :

The man who targeted and killed Democratic state Rep Melissa Hortman was a Trump supporter.

The man who targeted the home of Dem Governor Josh Shapiro was a Trump supporter.

The men who wanted to hang Mike Pence on Jan 6th were Trump supporters.

The man who targeted and killed the son of Obama-appointed District Judge Esther Salas was a Trump supporter.

The man who tried to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and assaulted her husband was a Trump supporter.

The men who were convicted trying to kidnap Dem Governor Gretchen Whitmer were Trump supporters.

The man who sent pipe bombs to the homes of Obama and Biden was a Trump supporter.

There is no equivalent or even similar list of Obama or Biden supporters who have carried out similar murders, attempted murders, or violent attacks, and I dislike all of them. But facts are facts.

The alleged Taco shooter and the bloke who was apprehended allegedly lying in wait for Taco were both Taco supporters.

The fact the cove who murdered Kirk has eluded police may well be evidence that he/she doesn’t support Taco 🤔

When I was a young kid, I used to go rabbiting with my dad, we met the old fella once. He was in his 80s and used get paid by the pelt, he  would shoot them through one eye and out the other (spot lighting) with a 22. It was incredible.

Whether one is left or right leaning should have no bearing on one's ability to call a spade a spade. At this moment in time, the great majority of inflammatory, hateful, incendiary rhetoric, calls to arms, calls to violence, revenge, retribution etc come from the Republicans. That's just a fact.
