You have to wonder why the BBC went down that road.  Taco always provides great material for the news media and satirists without any need for creative editing.

All they had to do was make the cross fade obvious so that the edit wasn't concealed, they do that on other reports all the time.

I doubt he will really sue because it opens him to discovery, yet all he cares about is money and the carrot is big in his mind.

And his lawyers, be they personal or DoJ (which is much the same) are incompetent and out of their depth 🙄

I think the lawyers know the risks very well, but he surrounds himself with sycophants that he pays very well.

So they end up with sh1t on their nose and a fat wallet, at least until he fires them. ;D

Although if the rumours are true he is burning those bridges as well, it seems yet again in this term his list of indirect debtors is growing faster than his ego, all of them fearing retribution if they speak out.

Taco has backflipped and removed tariffs on food items such as beef, tea, fruit juice, cocoa, bananas, tropical fruit and tomatoes.

I wonder if it finally sunk into his thick skull that his tariffs were biting with food prices rising faster than the US 20-year historical average rate.  Perhaps it's a panic response to the collapse of Taco's coalition of voters at the 05 November elections.

Ironically, some of the food items that were subject to tariffs weren't produced in the US or, like beef, couldn't meet local demand.

It probably doesn't really matter how Karoline Leavitt tries to spin this, the diehard MAGA supporters will believe anything  ::)

Trump has had a fallout with Marjorie Taylor Greene over the Epstein files and other issues.

I suspect there are quite a few Republicans who have gone along with Trump for the 'coat-tail' ride but who secretly want to see the end of his reign, and a return to a less chaotic party and politics.
It's not a matter of 'if' they turn but 'when'.
And a few probably smell blood in the water.

The tinder that exists within the MAGA movement was always a chance of internally combusting. Trump attracted every known breed of American Fruitcake, with no thought to anything other than power and vote buying. You have The Israel lobby in there with neo Nazi types like Fuentes, you have the tech bros who love skilled labour from overseas (especially India and China) up against the hardcore anti immigration types. It has to go up in flames sooner or later.

India, The Philippines, Bangladesh and Africa should tariff the USA for tech support, Silicone Valley would wither on the vine, showing itself up as more silicone than silicon! ;)

I know everyone is fascinated by this but step back and we quickly see that whilst this will cause a bit of immediate strife the future is already written.  Trumps second term is almost over.  He wont get another, and what happens from here is largely irrelevant.

As expected when he was elected, it hasn't been the car crash anyone forecaster and it hasn't been the raging success the others voted in.  The larger status quote remains and all is generally ok.

Theres been some middle east war stuff, and thats about business as usual from where I sit.

Now if the Epstein stuff topples him then what?  He gets thrown out theyll end his tenure what, 1 year early?

Like him, hate him, or indifferent, its all been a bit like a reality TV program and I for one have disregarded most of it.
