Trump has the answers  and said we can buy his Oil or take care of our own destiny by sending our military to the Strait of Hormuz to sort out the Iranians???

Effectively this is the stalemate both sides want, now they'll both declare "victory and back away leaving spot fires in Israel, Lebanon and what not to continue bubbling away and the world will return to normal with lots of economic damage.

We know Trump is prone to exaggeration but sometimes in his ramblings we get a true picture of how he regards countries and their people.

"bombing back to the stone age, where they belong"

...isn't an attack just directed at the regime and military and strategic targets in Iran.
It also includes it's "brave" and "beautiful" people, many who took to the streets a few weeks ago, at their own peril to defy an oppressive regime.

Attacks on transportation infrastructure, power plants, oil refinerys...and perish the thought, desalination plants will lead to pain for these people-men women and children...but I guess in Trump's eyes they'll be "where they belong". ::)

Mid terms in November...which may limit some of his excesses.
Or alternatively someone pulls the 25th amendment out of their pockets and sees him off...leaving JD in charge...which may no be an improvement.
Trump will try all sorts of dodgy practices to keep his job.

The thing is that he's obviously in decline and I'm not sure he's enjoying the way the war is going.
He was very low energy in his address to the nation yesterday.
