Why pick on them? Add Newman, Plowman, Kennedy, Lang, Thomas to the list of players who will never really cut the mustard. And of course Bolton and Liddell.

Totally agreed with all he said...

SOS has looked the best in terms of recruiting for years, so to say we won't improve - have a look at our past drafts! It is development, or lack of that has been the continual problem at Carlton for years. Why haven't we won the VFL premiership at least? That at least builds some winning culture and allows players to develop in a successful unit. They won't get that playing seniors.

No issue with our drafting generally. We've put together a decent enough side. Just so poorly coached.

Some of those players come to us as decent players then they turn to $hit when they are here.

I think we got good players in, but what our coaching group is turning them into and getting them to do is diabolical.

I can’t accept that many first round draft picks can collectively be so bad under a good coaching and development team.
