Attention to detail, at the centre bounce before those three Bris goals, if Im Cripps I go to TDK and say to him you crack in hard at the centre bounce and get that knee right into the centre of OM's chest.

We gave them a fright and thats all you can ask imo - if we play elimination final in Brissy need Hewett and Kennedy back into that team. Our form improved dramatically after qtr time thats an important green shoot.

Even that last few minutes we had got back into the game, albeit without a real shot at winning. got our percentage back then let them kick 3 easy ones. Fk me! Couldn't even maintain the 15pt margin with 3 min to go. That would have been at least something and some real momentum to carry into next week. Even stuffed that up.

Lions were on after losing last week, they hit us hard early and made it clear who was boss and we folded up, a few junk goals in the last quarter made it look better than it was but were just smashed all day and offered little back.
Agree Pittonet would have helped as TDK looks cooked and needs a rest..........he will be back next week vs the Dees where it wont get an easier. Think we all know it would come down to the Collingwood game more than likely, problem is we are limping into the finals and will probably get pummelled in the 1st week given how things are going.
Lets hope we dont lose Cripps to the tribunal either as its never great when the player goes off and doesnt come back.....

- Hewitt is more than likely out for the year
- Kennedy will miss more than 3 weeks
- That was our elimination final at the Gabba, we won't make the 8.

If we play an Elimination Final it'll be from 8th and I reckon Collingwood in consecutive weeks.

Reckon we hang on and fall into 8th but we are struggling to keep going at the end of a long season.

Still, it is progress from recent times. Takes a while to become a true contender and you get some crap while on the way up.

Next week will be very tough for the club another good team with a very healthy list. But we have weapons as well just need our form to improve and get some of our bulls back. I wanted to see our form to improve this match and I think we got it. I'm more confident of making the eight this week than end of last week .
