First loss, it was coming. Not so worried about the loss per se, all clubs have stinkers, more about how we learn and rebound from it. Same thing next week and it is a different matter.

Fisher, Honey, Plowman, Ed just aren't up to it. Cripps, Cera, Harry all terribly down on form..We are a mile off the pace, lack of pace through the midfield is a real worry, especially with the saints next week.

I take it that is you 'conceding' then?

I've said it since the pre-seson.
2 rucks are not required when you have Jack as the 2nd ruck.
If Jack was injured, be my guest, play 2 rucks.
If TDK (or Pitto) was capable of playing another position, sure, play 2 rucks.

Pitto is #1 ruck.
TDK SHOULD end up being #1 ruck, but right now, he is barely #2 ruck.
By having the extra big body on the field, it means we can play an extra small.....like tonight, an extra small defender/stopper would've helped.

This is the first time we've 'given up' for a while....potentially first ever under Voss?
I suspect a lot of changes this week as a result.
Lose, if you have to, but do it by giving your all and going down swinging.
The way this has turned out will have him fuming.

Not hard enough at the initial contest and then exposed for pace once the ball got outside.......Cripps, Hewett, Kennedy and Fisher are ok at the coalface but cant really man anyone up who has some legspeed and players like Dawson and Laird were just on their own too often.
Obrien had a picnic in the ruck and Rowan Marshall plays the game the same way so we need to address that for next week.
