It comes down to what you can afford, with cost of living pressure, people aren't buying Toyotas just because they are Toyotas like the old days. I personally think they are superior bits of equipment (I am biased as I have owned Landcruisers and Prados for years) but they are not worth the difference in price nowadays. At the end of the day, they all do their job. I recently watched a video of a test some blokes did with some GVM vehicles at a place called "Beer OClock Hill". The GVM tank absolutely swallowed this hill up like no other car they have tested. The two different spec GVM Utes they tested were the first 4 door Utes to make it up this particular hill. Believe me it's doozey. I wouldn't have a GVM if you gave it too me for free but they are beasts and I'm an unabashed Toyota snob.
