AFL Rd 2 2025 In Game Angst Carlton vs Hawthorn

All ready for tomorrow. This will probably be my last Thursday night game of the year.

They're first to setup in D50 when we have the footy, and first in their F50 when they get the footy.

We are so predictable, they have 2 or 3 extras at the fall of the ball no matter where we kick it.

People say we are inconsistent, I say we are consistent. We dump silly kicks out of defence to their fwds consistently, Young gets pushed off the ball consistently, free kick hawthorn is consistent.
Pressure is good, what it needed to be in fact.
What I would do for a decent small or two.

Lewis Young doing his best Haynes impersonation from last week.

Haynes at least looks better this week.

Ollie has a bit of Kade Simpson about him the way he goes about it from half back. Reckon that will be an inspired call come seasons end.

TDK should have a field day tonight, and currently, is doing exactly that.
Hopefully he doesn't blow up too early.

Small forwards are out there.....if only we could get them to do something. Little bits of pack-pressure is about all we've had.

Good start. Nothing outstanding, but at least its game on so far.

There is a little more fight tonight but the system isn't there.

On the flipside, the Hawks look a lot more composed & in control.

When that pumpkin Chol starts taking marks, alarm bells should be ringing.

Does Motlop know anything about this game or which team he is playing for ??

Hawks were on top in the first half of that q, but I think we fought back well. Gutsy. Keep it up boys.
