Em:  [44] Francis Evans  [25] Jaxon Binns  [27] Marc Pittonet

I wonder what Frankie Evans knows that keeps him in the picture? I can't see any other reason that he's that close to a game.
Binns: I guess he deserves a try.
Pitto: Yeah, he has to be close.

I think with Evans its a case of a senior body ready and some I need who doesn't need time in the vfl to develop. I'm hes reached his ceiling and its not good enough.
Makes a good travelling emergency for that reason.

Binns.... im not sure he makes it past 2025.

Pitto....he's not in the team simply because we don't want him there now.
It's no longer form or fitness keeping him out as he dominated last week. We just don't need 2 rucks in the senior side. Simples.

I reckon it's probably just that he plays a role that gives us flexibility.

Is our emergency a small forward?  A wingman? A ruck?  What are we going to do if we lose jesse motlop, fogarty or durdin?  Bring in a ruck or one of the campos?

I think Evans had a high tackle count in the last game and maybe is seen as someone who can play a run with role as he seemed to spend a lot of time up the ground rather than down forward.

Evans led our tackle count in the VFL last week with 8
He also led our inside 50 stats with 7
He had the ball 16 times.

I'm guessing he played a role that was assigned and probably performed that well enough.
Although he didn't have a great impact that's probably a 'fair' performance.

What are we going to do if we lose jesse motlop, fogarty or durdin?

Based on last weeks form....
Fogarty and Durdin we wince.
Motlop - we roll our eyes and give a cynical smile....

I think we'll find Young and Blacres start on the pine, with Moo and Durds on the field; also that Walsh will flip with Lij. Sub is interesting but can see Doc being sub due to his versatility if something goes tits up early
I was there, Blight missed!!!
