Sad news, I was more of a Brett "the hitman" Hart fan...

Loved him as a kid.
Didn't mind him as a bad guy.

The gloss really wore off as i became an adult though.

There is an abundance of 'behind the scenes' type stuff from yesteryear that people are talking about.
He admits himself he stole his whole gimmick from Superstar Billy Graham.....all of it from the look to the vocabulary to the fake tan and biceps. Not many have a good word to say about the egomaniac that was Hulk Hogan. Both in terms of his actual wrestling ability and his status as a good bloke....very much masked by his on-camera persona. Sex tapes, steroid abuse, racial rants and all.
Was a great 'entertainer' but not a great worker or human being.

Definitely one of a kind that will not be replicated though.

My kids loved that stuff, one was aligned to Hart and the other Undertaker, both liked the Rock.

Hogan played to his audience, in recent years he'd become hard right, I wish entertainers would keep political views private because they are can be so influential, but often privately their views differ from the public persona. How would Hogan's character reconcile a fair go with what RedTrump does?

Loved the Hart Foundation.
If you haven't watched the Vince Macmahon doco on Netflix, do yourself a favour.

To all wrestling fans....plenty of good content worth watching.
"Dark side of the ring" is one of the best, no BS, hard hitting shows you will see. Each episode is on a different wrestler/incident. Even ones you've never heard of will keep you intrigued.
"Mr. McMahon" is a good watch as well. Mostly known stuff though.
"Wrestling with shadows" was the original doco that pulled back the curtain centered around Bret Hart
"Andre the Giant" documentary is great value with plenty of WTF stories.
"Nature Boy" 30 for 30 documentary is very well done and makes you wonder how Flair is still alive....for a variety of reasons.
"The reserrection of Jake the Snake" is the most raw, honest and confronting documentary you will ever see.
