RIP Chris Rea

Chris Rea passed away a couple of days ago aged just 74.

I guess he won’t be driving home for Christmas this year.

Such a distinctive voice and for someone who didn't take up the guitar until his early twenties, he sure did excel in quick time.

"Fool If You Think It's Over" was probably his biggest hit, though "Tennis" and "Driving Home for Christmas" also charted strongly. But you could see his physical appearance change (deteriorate) over the years, due, mainly, to his heavy smoking.
