Posting from Media and Other sites

We probably just need to reinforce the way we do this on this site

8. Note on posting articles from newspapers -quoting a sentence or a single paragraph with a URL or other reference is acceptable but quoting an entire article is not permitted.

Most of us aren't real big fans of the media.
Few of us are big fans of the paywall.

But it serves a purpose in that it protects access for the provider of the content.
It also means those that do subscribe get full value for their outlay

So rather than quoting whole articles could we just adhere to the practice of providing a link and then enough of the article to give context.
It actually helps the provider by directing people to their content.

If folks are interested enough or want to read the whole article they have the option to subscribe.
