That was sh it and should never have come to that. At least they did something when it mattered but that was it, which is something that's better. Just know when we were 18pts up we'd take the foot off the gas. Been like that most of the night, just not fully switched on. That was some mental letdown after Geelong.

Reckon we found holiday mode after last week. That was one mental letdown to end all letdowns.

Jokes aside, for a club that has experienced so much failure in the last 25 years, treating victory as an inconvenience because we have embarked on Operation Get Cody, is beyond the pale.

Ben McKay kicked a goal with 8 minutes left and the next centre bounce Essendon fielded their weakest line up.

Why were they going so hard at the last centre bounce?

Was that all part of the show
