Like it or not, it's here to stay.
With Tasmania coming in, and probably a twentieth team not far behind...it's probably fair enough that half the competition gets a crack at the end.
I liken it to the Repechage in Olympic rowing and other sports, a 2nd chance to make the finals.

Yep
It is that, but down the track it will just be the "first week of finals".
Make the 10 and you play on.

Already some commentators are referring to our position as making the finals

Assuming both teams are legit and having a real crack, I would value a win over Freo next week more than a wild card victory against a flaky outfit like the Bulldogs.

The AFL considers it a final...

Its a final. The AFL says its a final. It will count as a final. Whoever said it wasn't a final?
Its always been a final.

Does anyone have a heads up on what tickets will be available and at what price?
I have priority 1 (Captains Club) membership.
Any idea what bays,  what prices?
I will of course be happy anywhere but lower level would be nice but not too keen to pay a crazy price

Its one of the great mysteries, all they say is starting at $35, we'll probably get stung $568 per ticket.
2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time
2025-Carlton can win the 2025 AFL Premiership
2026-Slow start, we can kick after all, why not?

Rang the club, if you are full year members, you are priority 1 irrespective of level of membership.

Wonder if that means some full year members will miss out on tickets?

I have Captains Club membership which is meant to guarantee a grand final ticket if (when) we make it - based on this I considered my membership to be priority 1 . No idea how many tickets for this week's final are allocated to members and how many full year members there are but now I'm somewhat worried.
