Unless he returns to posting, it's a situation where we may never know the reason for his absence.

I have actually been trying to do some searches based on what I know of EB (Mark) and his background to see if I can make contact with him via another way like LinkedIn or something like that. No luck as yet.

He's older than I am so he not young, so hopefully nothing has gone amiss. My first thought that something isn't right and he'd be everywhere on here. Top notch poster.

i wasnt going to mention it but Mark had a heart issue in 2022 which came out of the blue. Cant help but think this is a similar issue as any other situation he would have replied to our messages.

Im must say im quite affected by his absence and what it means. I never met the man in person but i really liked him nevertheless - was never personal regardless what came his way smart thinker and empathetic whenever  there was a personal issue.

A massive loss to the site.

Let's not catastrophise yet shawny.  Hopefully hes won't lotto or something and just hasn't logged in. 

Fingers crossed he returns.  Level headed poster.

Hopefully we see him soon.  We've lost a few over the years, makes me wonder if we should contact people outside of the place to check in.
