Jim Park Voting AFL EF#1 2026 Carlton vs Geelong

Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

If it hadn’t rained … Unfortunately, our game does suit wet conditions at the moment, something we have to work on for 2027. We didn’t give up, but he did appear to run out of juice. And some of Geelong’s top players played unusually well,

[3]   Sam Walsh:      The best midfielder on the ground, Walsh was tremendous. 29 possessions, 4 clearances, 5 tackles.
[2]   Jagga Smith:      Brilliant, early, but was controlled after half time.
[2]   George Hewett:   27 disposals, 11 tackles and 7 clearances says how effective George was.
[1.5]   Patrick Cripps:      Not Crippa’s greatest game, but he still managed 24 possessions and 11 clearances.
[1.5]   Billy Wilson:      Excellent in defence. Lots of ball and great run from defence.
[1]   Marc Pittonet:      Not as dominant as we might have hoped for, but Pitto was still a warrior. 5 clearances and 13 possessions was a good return.
[1]   Ollie Florent:      Not as dominant as he can be, be, like Wilson, he really showed great run and carry from defence.
[0.5]   Cooper Lord:      Lord not only did a good job defensively, but he managed 2 goals.
[0.5]   Ollie Hollands:      Tried his guts out.19 possessions and 6 tackles.
[0.5]   Jacob Weitering:   Did his job well.
[0.5]   Francis Evans:   Frankie didn’t get the rewards this time, which was disappointing, but he does show just how committed he is.
[0.5]   Adam Cerra:      Did his job well.
[0.5]   Brodie Kemp:      Not a lot of ball, but was dangerous and kicked 2 goals.

Honourable Mentions:
Lachie Cowan:      Did his job as well as he could. Just couldn’t stop Dangerfield. ☹
Ben Ainsworth:      Not as dominant as he has been, but still good.
Harry McKay:         Starved after half time.
