As a small aside - finally, Geelong have given us a decent player.

Bombers played well i thought too.

We are about the same level as the Bombers, so if both teams came to play, it was always going to be a close game.

Yes, you'd say neither side is finals material, I retaining my pre-season estimate which for us was middle tier.

McGovern can't take a trick, was just starting to get up to speed and looks to have done a hammy.

Newman and TDK looked quite fit today, Newman looks as lean as he's ever been, but surely they need another week or two of VFL.

SoJ and Martin are yet to play, so I assume they have a week of VFL at least.
