Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Rd 18 Pre game ponderings: Holiday on the Gold Coast or Disaster at Carrarra?
Some one must tag Ablett, even 30 disposals with some under presssure is better than 49 touches, all quality.

I'd get Carrazzo to run with Ablett, Cachia to run with O'Meara and Curnow to run with Bennell. Limit those 3 influence and we'll be a chance.

I would like to agree with you here because their mids cause more damage than they have in the past. Their confidence is up. Playing over there will help them in terms of crowd support. We just can't under-estimate their motivations to win against us. Must get on top early and grind them out of the game. Kill the run in the middle of the ground to start with. Kill their supply. Kill, kill, kill.

Only issue I see with that though is Carazzo's poor current form.
I wonder if Curnow would be a better option? Or Joseph to come in to his speciality role of "Abblett tagger". I fondly remember a couple of occasions Joseph has stictched him up.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: RD 16 : Blues Smack Saints (Aftermatch Review)
I'm backing Sticks over BT and Darcy every day of the week... And twice on Sundays!

When it comes to commentating Carlton, BT is the biggest Fn C god ever shovelled guts into.
It is honestly laughable. Anyone who uses his comment about Carlton as backup for their point is in reality disproving it.

As for Sticks coming out and supporting the team publicly... Well, do we really need to ask whether our club president did the right thing in getting behind the team and supporting them after such a horror week?  ::)

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: RD 16 : Carlton v St Kilda (Pre-game Chatter)
I am not a fan of robbing Peter to pay Paul, and hence, I don't think Henderson is our answer in the forward line, whilst he has formed such a good working relationship in the backline. BUT... he really does have to play forward this week, with Watson coming into the backline given that Waite is out and Casboult has been dropped doesn't he?
Has Casboult done something wrong and is he being disciplined? Because while I am no great fan of his, this week isn't the right week to drop him is it? We have a clear lack of talls going into the game... Don't like this at all.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Walls goes "Bang"
I love it. a couple of weeks ago he was a nut job senile old man, now that a few people agree with him he is the psion and only speaks the truth. I love Wallsy, but really, as someone said previously, when it comes to Carlton he speaks as a supporter, not an objective analyst, I think that's why I like him.
