Nobody has put down their thoughts yet, so I may as well.

Team:   D
We lost by 21 points. We didn’t give up, we kept going to the final siren, but we made too many mistakes and our mistakes cost goals. I can’t find the positives that I could last week, so ‘D’ it is.

Votes:
[3]   Patrick Cripps
[2]   Zac Fisher
[2]   Sam Kerridge
[2]   Andrew Phillips
[1.5]   Dale Thomas
[1.5]   Levi Casboult
[1]   Liam Jones
[0.5]   Charlie Curnow
[0.5]   Ed Curnow
[0.5]   Kade Simpson
[0.5]   Sam Rowe

Explanations:
[3]   Patrick Cripps:   Crippa was nothing short of brilliant, with 32 possessions and 24 contested possessions. That is not including the clearances and the tackles. Unfortunately he made a few mistakes, which cost us goals. Cripps needs to improve his kicking and get real confidence in it, as he waits for faster guys to run by or tries to play on when he shouldn’t.
[2]   Zac Fisher:   This was Fish’s best game for us, and this is not the first time this season it has happened. He continues to improve and get more consistent.
[2]   Sam Kerridge:   Easily Kerridge’s best game for year. He didn’t even turn it over very often.
[2]   Andrew Phillips:   Excellent in the ruck and reasonable around the ground. He tired later in the game and the Dogs got the ball from the middle, but signs were very positive.
[1.5]   Dale Thomas:   Daisy has played his best football for us this year and this was no exception. His disposal was generally better than his team mates.
[1.5]   Levi Casboult:   Some great marks and a lot of effort, finishing off with some of his better kicking.
[1]   Liam Jones:   Played a lot of the game on Johanisson and beat him pointless. He also made a few mistakes that were costly.
[0.5]   Charlie Curnow:   A very up and down day, but 11 marks and close to 20 possessions meant that he was a constant thorn in the Bulldog’s paws.
[0.5]   Ed Curnow:   Not as productive as he has been: he was tagged!
[0.5]   Kade Simpson:   Started quite poorly, but finished strongly.
[0.5]   Sam Rowe:   Terrible in the first 5 minutes, but from then did not concede a goal while playing steadily in defence.

Honourable Mentions:
Harry McKay:   Not as effective as last week, but he was a danger and kicked very well. Fell out of the game as it went on.
Matthew Kennedy:   Not 100% fit, nor in any sort of form, he probably needs to go back to the VFL and find both. But you cannot complain about his endeavour. Or his kicking.
Paddy Dow:   Solid, and showed some very nice things.
