Their hand ball is killing us. The get it out via hand into space so quick.
And our response is t stand still and guard space. We give the opposition mids and half backs too much room and take too long to respond.

Same in reverse going forward, everyone finds their position to stand in and waits for the ball to come their way.

Getting chances near goal but mucking them up. We probably should be at least closer.

If we play Casboult, C.Curnow and McKay do we really need to play SOS? We need a smaller defence. We have no pace to set anything up out of there. We have no idea how to run and spread when we have it. We don't work hard enough to keep the ball in our 50, the essence of today's game.

Agree we're being dudded by the umpires.

Boy have the players been disappointing though. Our continued mediocrity is breaking my spirit.

Im calling it, its over. 0-6

Not looking good for sure. We need to get our act together pdq in the 3Q or we'll be in for a flogging.

Paul,  are you watching the game you troll?

I have two options as far as time wasting goes - watching the game, or pointing out the bleeding obvious to you.

I choose the latter.

If I see SPS glory towning running into open space and not shepherding one more time, I'll march down to etihad and drag him off the park myself.

They set up from defence with their run and carry. We have to work harder to keep the ball in our 50.

Agreed, but we don't have any small defenders to bring in at the moment.

Cant play Cripps on Bontempelli, the latter needs a dedicated stopper...

Agree. I was hoping we could have broken up that run but we're failing badly atm.

Yeah, I'm afraid it's VFL time for SPS, as well as O'Shea and SoJ, although SoJ is giving us more than McKay!

Boring game, pity our talls can't hold some marks, would be close.

Good half by Meat though, just needs to keep moving.

Positives

Cripps
Fisher should be extended to 2050 :D
Daisy having a good game.
Phillips is winning the ruck clearly
I'm liking the way McKay moves despite not a lot of scoreboard impact.

Negatives
Younguns Dow and O'Brien having little impact
Jack might need another spell

OShea has been ok IMO and keeping his man quiet...

Kennedy not fit, at all. O'Shea - crazy to pick him this week.

We drop two guys who actually have some toe against a team full of toe....

our forward line is full of snails, our backline little better.

Where is the ticker with these blokes.....?

They're happy to play at 50% seemingly.
Finals, then 4 in a row!

And Mullet. The worst 'good kick' I've ever seen.
