Jim Park Voting 2023 AFL Rd 10 Carlton vs Collingwood

Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

Hopefully we'll have guys to vote for.  :))

Hopefully we have some people who want to vote! Numbers have been very low in the last couple of weeks.

AFL Rd 10:   Carlton vs Collingwood
Not good enough.
Rating:      C-
I could have gone a lot lower, I might have had I voted on the day, I was so disappointed. But no matter how ordinary we were at times, we won the second half. Pity our disposal was so ordinary.

Votes:
[2.5]   Marc Pittonet
[2.5]   Adam Cerra
[2]   Sam Docherty
[1.5]   Sam Walsh
[1.5]   Charlie Curnow
[1.5]   Nic Newman
[1]   Matthew Owies
[1]   Matthew Kennedy
[0.5]   Patrick Cripps
[0.5]   Jordan Boyd
[0.5]   Adam Saad

Explanations:
Nobody deserved more than 2 votes, which made things difficult.
[2.5]   Marc Pittonet:      Pitto was excellent in the ruck. Our one clear winner on the day.
[2.5]   Adam Cerra:      Probably our most effective midfielder, but that wasn’t good enough.
[2]   Sam Docherty:   Tried his guts out, but his disposal was terrible.
[1.5]   Sam Walsh:      Tried his guts out, but his disposal was faecal.
[1.5]   Charlie Curnow:   Could have won us the game if we could have got the ball to him. But we couldn’t and Charlie didn’t have his kicking boots on.
[1.5]   Nic Newman:      Our best defender. A winner.
[1]   Matthew Owies:   Didn’t get a lot of ball, but made each one count.
[1]   Matthew Kennedy:   Tried his guts out.
[0.5]   Patrick Cripps:      Tried hard, but his disposal was always under pressure.
[0.5]   Jordan Boyd:      Terrible early, but got right on to of his opponent.
[0.5]   Adam Saad:      Tried his guts out.

Honourable Mentions:
Lewis Young:      Our best tall defender, his second half was pretty good.
Jack Silvagni:      Tried hard in the ruck and wasn’t that bad.
