Mick isn't my favourite person tonight. It might just be me venting at the wrong time, but can we trade Mick for Buddy Franklin and get Duigan to coach the side.
Quite frankly, Mm screwed this season by poor MC selections in the first two months of the season.....
Selections weren't too flash tonight either. Why no Warnock?
Did I see Ballantyne manhandle an umpire tonight? Isn't that 9 weeks? Where's Fatprick Smith?
Has anyone mentioned that incredible torpedo induced coast to coast goal?*
Want to see the clock on that one. Definitely a ploy worth trying at least once a game.
For the life of me I cannot fathom why Watson doesn't kick out every single time. Such a beautiful kick! He's relatively slow, and Walker's relatively fast so ... swap roles.
*Oh, just saw your post bigblue. Maybe I should stop ignoring the warning the new system throws up
Enjoyable win and a turning point for the club IMO...MM coached well and got his matchups right.....Brad Scott will whinge because thats what he does best and I cant wait for his latest excuse...
haha "Why did they close the roof? Footy's supposed to be a wet weather sport. I cannot believe they closed the roof!"
Henderson, Kruezer, Simmo - all brilliant tonight.
Lucas, McLean, Curnow - very good.
Jeez, we have such a big problem positioning our backs to counteract those fast breaks.
Surge in the third quarter attributable 100% to dominating the centre clearances. HOWEVER, I am now totally convinced that, when we get 3-4 goals up, our players look at the scoreboard and allow themselves a break - physical and mental. No doubt in my mind about that. No doubt at all.
Had all day..just had to milk the runs from the opposite end that Anderson was bowling but no ..Haddin has to chase/poke at one and gets behind.
Really was a poor shot from Haddin who had admittedly played well up till then. If ever there was a ball that should have been let through, that was it.
Been a while since we've seen Judd pick up the team by the scruff of their collective necks and drag them across the line. Almost joined in the criticism that's been surfacing of late. Glad I bit my tongue.
Inconsistent, prone to inexplicable lapses, build you up only to lose the plot, get beat up by arch enemies that were formerly softc0ckian.
Well I guess we could still win this one but I fear my original post will carry the day.
Broad and Swann are both jerks. Couldn't believe the way Swann turned and gave it to the Aussie crowd after catching Agar. The no. 11 had just belted you all over the park you moron. Have to say though, that, coupled with Broad's refusal to walk, shows they've got the mongrel in them that we (Aussies and Carlton) used to have.
It's not an anti-Milne rant. I honestly believe it's the best thing (in his interest) for him not to play. I've no problem with St Kilda supporting him both financially and emotionally while the process plays out....that's the crux of the "innocent until proven guilty" thing. I just don't believe he should be playing.
Surely he won't play
Geez, if he does, it's the one match I've decided to take my 3 young kids to because their cousin is playing the little league game. Any advice on a definition of 'rapist' suitable for an 8 year old?
Sorry about the schoolboy humour of my new username (Benny Hill reference. Gold!). You may remember me from previous posts on the old site as "Dommo25" with the Vinnie Catoggio avatar. There's another 'Dom'(inator) who pre-dates my joining, so time for a change. Now, where were we? Oh yeah, those Essendon lying, cheating sons of b*tches ...
