With every game Jones is making Mick look like more and more of a genius.  ;)
Mick also drafted in Cripps, traded out Hampson and traded in Docherty for pick 30 or something.
But Daisy, I hear them say.....................

Who is this Mick you speak of... ??? ;) ;)

He came and went like a summer breeze, leaving barely a trace except for an ominous presence now known simply as Liam.

 ;D ;D Touche.

Though the poetry of 'a summer breeze' could easily be replaced with 'the pungent flatulence of a mad gorilla.' Either way we do end up with St Liam  :D

We are just over half way into a 3, perhaps 4 year  rebuild.
We are doing pretty well under the circumstances.

Grow up. >:( >:( >:(

Correct.
BB said through the week that he won't be played until they reckon he's ready.

Obviously got a bit to go yet.

It's great to see Casey back, I hope this week is one of 200 games he plays for the Mighty Blues.
I hope Sheehan gets a game as well, although I think Byrne is the better of the two I think both of the Irish lads are serious talents.
I'm surprised to see Buckley named in the squad after watching the VFL last week, and just as surprised to see Smedts overlooked, Armfield could have got a look in as well on form.
Cloke isn't playing so Footscray lack some fire power with him, Boyd and Crameri missing, but they are manic around the ball and we'll miss Cripps and Ed Curnow.
It will be a tall order but it gives the kids a great opportunity against the reigning premiers.

If it's not form why would they name Buckley as emergency now ?   They did it with Mckay last week and I can't see the point of doing it with Buckley... just play him..  give him two weeks to save his career or so long thanks for trying for 5 years and all the best for the future..
Da Di Da Di Dar..Da Di Da Di Dar..Da Di Da Di Da Di Darrr ...Darrr Darr.. We are the NAVY BLUES !!
