Ummmm don’t know decking players and getting reported is a great solution. Maybe he needs to study Fyffe and Martin etc and see how they work off a tagger. AND those around him should let his tagger know that they are in for a hard day.
Absolutely. Be as physical as we can on anyone stupid enough to try to mind Cripps.

Really missed Harry imo. Hes mobile and quick which spreads the defence and gives space to our smalls. The F50 looked congested and the kicking in was poor. Also reckon Cas really struggles being the main man. He is half the player he is when he is the support act.

All in all will take the win as I hate that mob. they had a few outs but we also were not at our strongest and won again without massive games from the usual. Signs are better and if we all click we would be a handful for any team.

Setterfield is starting to (thankfully) prove me wrong. He is getting more involved and more importantly is using it much better then he originally did.

Cunningham didn’t get it much but he impacted the game which in a tight one was massive.

Weitering is a bonifide star. AA lock if he conitues. Love how he goes about it.

Hawks are never easy and coming from 4 straight losses they will be hungry. Need to play better then we did today to knock those pr1cks off. Plus Clarkson whinging about umpires means they will get the rub of the green from the yellow maggots.

So to counter that, we should get on the front foot and email the umpires dept tonight with our own complaints. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. 5P's kids

We're just as bloody entitled as any other club.  The 5 day turnaround before the Hawthorn game will set some selection wheels spinning.  And of course, no free to air

If you have the chance to view the final quarter replay, note these:
14:15   Polak high fend off to Murphy  Nothing
10:39   Cripps high fend off to No35  Free against
8:17  Docherty done for deliberate out of bounds
7:11  McKay goes To the boundary line Nothing
52 secs to go Anderson has both arms around Cripps in a one on one marking contest  Nothing

That was in 16 minutes without looking too closely.

Someone on facebook posted a short vid of Willo picking up the ball, getting tackled immediately with the player holding the ball to him the entire time, including when he is on his back on the ground.

Holding the ball.

1. No prior.
2. Did not actually have the ball, player was holding it to him.
3. Laid on his back for at least part of the tackle.
4. None of the above mattered because he was wearing Navy Blue.  ::)

Why did we play Moore?

I really question our decision makers if we think this guy is AFL level talent. He's just not. 2 pos and he spent a lot of time in the ruck so wasn't camped in the fwd pocket for the whole game.

We missed Cas impact in the ruck today. An absolutely SHOCKING selection call. Which We'll probably repeat next week.

Eddie had 5 pos and about as much impact as Gov who stank it up then injured himself. Cunningham was our best fwd and he only had 11 pos.

The umpiring today was shocking.

Even when they reversed the shot at goal for Polec- you could see how he took the mark was to shove Murphy above the shoulder. So many regulation frees like that just weren't paid.

We got reamed against the dogs also.

You could see North were trying to be aggressive and push the boundaries but they lost the clearances and contested pos (2nd to the ball all day) yet they won the free kick count 32 - 24.

I know. I think we have to accept a 12 pos game is elite for our fwd line in the system we play.... for whatever reason.

Moore had been training well, is seen as a workhorse and has been doing ruck training with Kreuzer.....was useless in the ruck mistiming leaps and useless down forward vs a real pro in Tarrant who along with the surprising Walker had too much muscle and nous for Moore and Levi.
Surprised Levi wasnt used in the ruck as he was having a shocker down forward.
Vs Ceglar and McEvoy we will might need TDK if Levi is going to be played forward permanently....Piitonet vs his old ruck mates might find the double team a bit tough on his own...
