Agree Micky, obviously frustrating our distinct lack of success and bottoming out. Was saying to a few mates yesterday we just have to keep going a no turning back now.

On Bolton’s lack of game day moves, is it possible he wants a player to learn his role and from time to time that means they will get beaten on the day? I.e his lack of moves on game day are pre meditated

Ladies Lounge / Re: Lauren Arnell Departs
Just two years ago Lauren was the corporate face of Carlton AFLW and one of the midfield's prime movers!

For many this will just be another sign of rot, some questions need to go Half's way!

I hope the club proves the haters wrong! But older fans must be getting a very bad feeling about some of this stuff, they have lived through strings of events like this before!

Arnell was pretty ineffective this year, she looked very slow and I imagine she would be a depth player only at Brisbane.

Vescio and Davey we’re the clubs priorities and they got them both locked away. Suggest the fans you speak of should take a look at some of the positives.

Wouldn't be surprised if Charlie's quad keeps him out for another game.
Thought Graham might have been a bit unlucky...  but he might still play if Charlie doesn't come up.
Jones named on the interchange....is that just a subtle message to him.
Cunningham off half-back could be a good move if he lines up there...
I actually don't see that defence as too tall.

Except Cunningham isn’t a defender ....

Been saying it all year he needs a rest during games but everytime he goes out of the midfield other teams just cash in and dominate us...
We need that Ben Cunnington strong body workhorse who can take over the grunt work and farm the ball out to Dow, Obrien etc.....
Kennedy was meant to be that player but looks busted up after round one vs tigers.....not sure why he has been played injured, its just another woeful piece of off field work by our brains trust..

Isn’t ed curnow the big bodied mid we need. Tackle machine, takes the pressure off a little from Cripps. ?

Depends on whether it's a full or partial tear, or if it's just a strain.

I feel there is more to this than BB, it looks like there is more to this than BB, I wonder if he is being undermined.

That’s one hell of a leap. Im gutted by today’s loss but you look at what we put out there and the effort of some individuals- we have some good assistant coaches, I see this more as players not listening or being capable of playing to instruction.

Ducking kerridge - kicks round corners instead of playing percentages, daisy try’s to play champagne football to LOB when Spumante would have been the better option. Jones failing to get body contact with his opponent ....the list goes on. I agree wiTh an earlier post, get rid of the spuds and let the kids play!

De Koning is at least 3 or 4 years away.

He'll put on bulk first, that will initially slow him down and he'll temporarily lose the ability to jump and mark like he does at the moment. Then over a couple of uninterrupted seasons he'll lose some of the new bulk but build strength while he learns sensible running patterns. FWIW, we are already seeing a less mobile version of McKay this season after effectively only one full pre-season.

Assuming Phillips stays fit he'll be primed to be 1st Ruck by the time Kreuzer retires, Phillips is already showing glimpses of what he can do, he just isn't reliable at the moment.

The smoky for us is Lobbe, has been and could be anything, a lot depends on the direction that game plan heads in for Lobbe to be influential.

Don’t disagree on DK, Kruezer isn’t yet 30 and the way he is rucking he could go for another 3-4. I don’t see Phillips or lobbe as anything else than insurance.

Hey Rocky,
If we add a few off the injury list and players getting some form in the 2's the likes of O'Shea, Mullet and Graham wont be playing.
Pickett, Williamson, Marchbank, Kennedy, Murphy, Docherty and Weitering are all starting 20 when fit and inform.

We should land a top player this year at pick 1or 2 and a couple in the second round.

Just keep watching Cripps, Curnow, Harry, Fisher, Dow and O'Brien in the mean time.

Hopefully A Phillips continues his improvement and can replace Kruezer when the time comes.

De koning will be 1st ruck before Phillips i reckon. Phillips a good 2nd banana only

Wins a win, specially against that kent of a mob. I see that Bellchanbers had 55 HOs to Kreuzers 31. Didnt notice that at the game today. Pretty happy boy tonight.
Very good effort across the board. Plenty of talent to come back so can only get better. Still worried about SPS, soft as butter ATM, Hopefully he learns and gets better in this dept.

sPs better today, hopefully working into some form.

So nice to get a win against that mob. Thought our forward line did very well considering the service.

Hard to see from where I was but thought Dow and O’Brien had lots of important touches. Great to see. Daisy was just about best on. Kruezer, cc, ec  and Cripps immense.

SPS was better, not at the same level as last year but should get confidence from that as will a few others.

Plowman stunk it up. As barbs said that handball to the boundary line was special
