Wouldn't surprise me if Cunners, Marchy and Gov are not on the list next year on last year of their contracts and they have had a poor start to the year already.

I think its 15-18 games this year or need to give someone else a go.

I think the club said won't change game plan - I know we are good forward of centre most of the time but looking forward to how we position defensively against top four sides. Collingwood barely had any players missing we had 13 that were not conditioned to play this game. Thats way too many.

The kid needs more time but he shows more than most for a ruck man at 23 - has the writing on the wall that this could easily be a trade we rue in 2-3 years.

If he wants the big dollars now then we have no option but to drive a hard bargain and trade but my point is first we need to do what we can to retain him.

If we need to go over the cap next year and under year after then we need to do it with Gov coming out of contract I have my preference on who to keep even if others will disagree.

Its hard to find young rucks that can take speccies and kick goals, his tackle numbers are pretty good. He is very good at hitouts to advantage when he wins the ruck contest just doesn't win enough of them yet - a seasoned hardened body will see him win more than lose due to his raw athletic ability. 203cm 23 year old would like us to persist with him.

I like what I'm seeing from the club and just develop him slowly and give him game on merit. He has talent to burn and dont think he is going anywhere in a hurry but would like to see him get 10-15 games under his belt this season. Manton was good for us but I think Kemp is a supercharged version of that and the club knows it.
