Smith, merret and heppell only played a half each.  Cale hooker not there either.

Charlie only played a half for us.

Two lesser highlights:
1.  Setterfield 19 disposals in only his first real hit out for a loooong time out of the game. He’s an old fashioned footballer with a football brain.
2.  SPS When Essendon got close, he took the responsibility to have a couple of key possessions. Showed real
maturity.

Good signs.

I went along, too many beers but highlights as follows
- had a few beers with Brendon Boltons old man. Terriific fella, can see why BB is from good stock
- S Walsh
- Kicked 100 pts
- Alex Marcou still has it
- G Southby can drink
- Liked the intensity shown by our mob
- Cheats FC overrated, if they are thinking top 4 they are dreaming.
- Setterfield did some nice things
- Weiters looked confident
2017-16th
2018-Wooden Spoon
2019-16th
2020-dare to dream? 11th is better than last I suppose
2021-Pi$$ or get off the pot
2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time

They weren’t at full strength the rucked Clarke the whole game and he got the flick from free, no Fantasia, Heppell Merrett Smith half a game no hooker or Bellchambers and their first hit out.
We won which is always good and we showed signs pretty happy.
Polson haters need to see he played a defensive game on saad and did his role still needs to win more kicks though.
Still too many easy dropped marks and sloppy kicks specially at goal but improvement on last years

But put them on the park together and would we still whoop them?

We were pretty much full strength minus kreuzer.

Awesome effort Sam Walsh, really happy that we have a genuine A grader here.

Newman was quite good, loved that Setterfield got through unscathed and was quite solid.

Jack Silvagni looked good as an inside mid at times, Cripps was Cripps, and Fisher cruised about the place. SPS was the surprise, really took charge at times and I think he copped a knock and kept pushing himself through - great signs there. Paddy Dow tried hard and is still building his tank, Lachie O'Brien got involved in that last term, and I thought Gibbons was everywhere in the first couple of quarters.

Great effort, obviously just a hit out, but good signs there.

We went in with a near full strength list but still treated it as a preseason game too.
Can’t see Cripps starting on the wing at the centre bounce during the season proper.

Was with some high profile Cheats FC supporters, they were seething, I was happy.

Unbelievable how many are making 'excuses' for the drug cheats.

For mine, the final margin flattered them greatly, irrespective of who they had on the park?

Clarke or Bellchambers - who cares, both average....
Finals, then 4 in a row!
