Another thing was our skill level, especially when we were moving the ball across the back line and in the past we would miss our targets and turn it over due to poor execution, this seems to have been tidied up considerably.
I think we need to add a couple of classy players between half back and half forward before the forward line.
Personally I would throw a kitchen sink at Josh Kelly this year and Marcus Bontampelli next year and pray to god that SPS, Graham, Cunningham come good.
Pickett is going from bad to worse - hope it turns around for him soon - he is good enough. Prefer if he plays on the wing like his junior days..he is not so much a forward pocket
Agree on the bulking up, has thinnish arms...something about Smedts style that I like too, very uncomplicated player....wasnt a fan of recruiting him but have warmed to him as a footballer and reckon he was unlucky to be dropped initially..
Smedts is decent.
Will add some depth.
Tuohy left as an established 27 year old + 2nd round pick Smedts came as a rusty 24 year old. + 1st round pick
Will get better as he remains injury free he has natural talent.
I don't want to say it... and I don't really care of the repercussions of reports an fines but if there was a line in sand game - this is it...I mean harrassment, brawls... require this game to be a fight more than football. This teams needs to draw a line in the sand that will not accept bruise free footy
