Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Rd 23: Post Game Party? Blues come home in the last!
Casboult has a lousy ball drop...too much air time between when it drops and the ball hits the boot......Stewart Lowe is about the only player I know who was a rubbish kick and became reasonable after lots of practice.. Earl Spalding was always awkward and a ordinary kick until the premiership year when he still looked awkward but seemed to kick goals.

Casboults kicking also lacks touch, he over kicks the ball even when kicking short...he needs a vatican approved exorcism of the kicking demon....

As I was composing a reply to this in my head I had to stop due to laughing out loud in front of work colleagues... All I got was:

"They showed Casboult's ball drop in slow motion during the game on Saturday..."  ;D
I know, small things, but I am on the tail end of my 13 hour night shift.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: ELIMINATION FINAL : Blues V Tigers (Pre-Game Patter)
Feck anyone who isn't happy we are playing finals. Feck 'em too if you think we shouldn't be playing.
Too right, you have every right to hold that opinion, I just feel sorry for you if you do.

I love this team. I might b1tch about them too often, I might fast forward too many bad quarters of play and I might throw too many things at the tv when they miss set shot after set shot at goal. But they are MY team, and I look forward to watching them play every week, and despite what I might outwardly say about our chances of winning any game, I secretly believe in my heart that can can win if they only...

so yeah, feck you... I'll be watching, I'll be cheering, I'll be as excited as a kid waking up on Christmas morning. If we lose I might b1tch and moan some more, but like you, I have a right to do so.

Come on boys, "...we''ll keep our end up!"

Great work.
Here is a link...

Okay, so we're just doing individual donations rather than a CSC one then?

I think it would be easier if everyone does their own rather than having to pass money around to each other. We can then post our receipt number or something.
I am not sure if there is somewhere on the donation page where we can put CSC in as a moniker.

Well done fellas.
I think we can still get a couple of more donations.
Worthwhile charity, these guys do a mountain of good work and are really important to helping the kids with Downs to really get somewhere in life. The earlier that kids with any sort of impairment can get therapy the better it is for them in terms of long term outcomes.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Scotto To Play On If Body Permits
@sheik... Who? It's not like we have such depth that guys are knocking the door down to get his spot.

Needs to stay for the extra year. Far from our worst player and will allow some of the young numpties to have more time to develop.
The other thing for me is that if we lose Scotland, we may as well cement Gibbs in the halfback role for the forseeable future as we don't really have anyone else to play that role.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Rd23 v Port Adelaide.
Duigs desperately unlucky. Showed he wasn't out of place last week. Ellard has probably taken his place looking at those ins and outs, and I would rate Duigan clearly ahead of Ellard, especially with the brutal attack on the ball Duigan showed last week, which is probably Ellard's forte.

Robbo has always been acknowledged for being full of heart and short on skill. The type of player that on one hand we all love for his big hits and passion, but we all get pi55ed off with for his all too frequent clangers.
My opinion of players of his ilk that they are good to have on tap for specific roles, or to bring in when the team is down on form, but if you are relying on them in your best 22, then you probably don't have a good enough side to win a flag.
