Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Rd 6: Post Game Passion: Carlton vs. Essendon
Looking at the votes surprised at the lack thereof for Kerridge. Can't see how he wasn't in the top 6.

Perhaps everyone has just set the bar higher for him which is a testament to his year to date, I would dare say he has been our most consistent contributor over the 6 week period (plus preseason).

Super value trade Kerridge and 28 for Menzel. Menzel just didnt do enough and with such a lack of pace the ball came out of our forward line even quicker then it does currently!

Thomas and Gibbs probably best 2 on the ground.

Plowman progressing well, I would like to see him start becoming a bit more offensive as he gets used to playing in the 1s.

Sumner and Lamb do some great things when they get the ball, but both just don't get enough of it. Don't think we can carry both of them in the one team unless they start finding more pill.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: You're The Coach - Where Is Their Best Position ??
Added a few more based on my own frustrations...

Murphy - Mid
Jones - FF
Jaksch - FF - whoever is best of these 2 plays that role, the other NBs
Gibbs - Mid
Smith - NBs
Simpson - Half Back Flank
Armfield - Fwd Pocket - pressure
Daisy - Fwd Pocket - pressure
Galluci - Fwd Pocket - pressure - whoever the 2 best options of these 3
Walker - 3rd fwd
Casboult - Roaming CHF
Buckley/DVR - I would like to see one of these develop in time to a wing for pace, DVR preferred based on quality kick
Tuohy - Not a good defender, would like to see him on the other wing given his elite kicking
Everitt  - Needs to watch tapes of Gunston, he should be able to play that same sweeping role but clearly doesnt

Watson twisted his ankle in the 3rd. Despite what the stats say Watson played a better game then Jones, Foster was also good however you can take little from it as they were like Sandilands taking on Marc Murphy in a marking comp.

What was impressive for me was the kicking skills from some of our younger guys. DVR is a beautiful kick, cant remember a missed target, just doesnt get it enough at this stage and the big surprise for me for the day was Fields. He is a bigger and better kick than Watson. Pretty impressive 27 touches and 2 goals from the back line and whilst you can't look into the numbers too much, on his kicking ability and size alone he has to be a chance for a senior game before the end of the year.

Cripps was 2nd in the NB B&F playing about 10 games. He is well ahead of Whiley and BB if all remain fit and firing
